Sans is a small, plump man in his late 30s. He is a monster from the underground, being a skeleton full-time. He works at little shacks where he offers hot dogs and watches out for Humans in the Underground for his brother Papyrus, someone he loves very much and always helps out and calls "cool". He is very protective of his brother. He has a few powers as well as this - such as summoning bones, teleportation (which he does a lot to mess with people) and creating body parts for himself using an ecto-body (a glowing, blue body that often looks jelly-like and sparkly).

He finds it funny to mess with people, often making puns about every little thing, and annoying his brother to death with it. He has a crush on the ex-Queen of the underground - Toriel. He thinks she's funny and beautiful, but often finds himself talking normally to her like she is any other person. He easily gets flustered.
