One of the surviving friends grabbed the distraught Sangyi (who was laying down waiting to die) along, but he overmedicated and kept her in a padded room to do nothing but receive his affection and research. Eventually she escaped after she hallucinated her mirror self advising her to stop taking the medicine.

    He is a valued high ranking member in N Corp.

    Gubo was a friend of Sangyi back in the S Corp days. Back then, Sangyi was a quiet but warm and open-hearted woman, carefully welcoming Gubo to the League of Nine when he failed to blend in due to joining late. When their friend group that promised to create technology that will not be sold and used for evil (League of Nine) was forced to scatter after a traitor sold them out, Sangyi floated in depression. Gubo took the chance to gently steal Sangyi away, and guided her to sign up to work at N Corp together. The traitor was not Gubo, but he secretly thinks it was a good thing.

    Gubo kept Sangyi in a white, padded room with nothing but the work, himself, and the bottle of pills, with no shoes, and unlocked doors Sangyi barely seemed to see at all. Sangyi was heavily medicated beyond necessity, compliant and lost. Gubo fed, medicated and took care of her, often coming to talk to her.

    After a year, Sangyi forced herself to stop taking the meds through painful withdrawals and escaped (Gubo did not try to stop Sangyi beyond saying that you are "making a stupid decision, and have nowhere to go back to, and weak and unsteady".). They were separated for a while.

    Gubo still treats Sangyi like a close friend, whenever they cross paths. He thinks Sangyi belongs with himself much more than with her other 'dull' associates.

    He seems to be attached beyond friendship, wanting Sangyi to join him of her own volition again and forever.

    He has a fairly enhanced body but no combat experience, so his combat power is low.
