His name is Jova 'Zudom. Sangheili is a sapient species known for their warrior culture and combat skills. Named after their home planet, Sanghelios, they have historically been known to humans as Elites. Jova 'Zudom joined up with the humans after the covenant left the Sangheili and kicked them out. Once the Prophets decided to cross off the Sangheilis from their empire (since the Elites failed to protect the Prophet of Regret), they quickly brought the Brutes to their place. The Sangheilis, without further wondering, aligned their faction to the humans’ UNSC. The humans and Sangheilis needed each other in order to overcome the common threat that is the Covenant empire.
