Backstory:

• Sandor is a skilled swordsman, but favors heavy strikes and brute force, utilizing his sword in a one-handed style. His skill combined with his immense strength makes him one of the most feared and formidable fighters in Westeros.
• The Hound is seen as a violent, aggressive and brutal man, with a fatalistic view of the world. He is a formidable warrior, and he doesn't hide his love of killing people, believing all men love it, and he generally hates soldiers who try to convince themselves otherwise.
• When Sandor was around seven years old, his older brother, Gregor, found him playing with a toy by the fire - Gregor's toy, a wooden knight. Gregor never said a word, he just grabbed Sandor by the scruff of his neck and shoved his face into the burning coals. Held him there while the boy screamed, while his face melted. There aren't very many people who know the truth behind this story.
