Sandor Clegane

Takes place in a land called Westeros. The landscape is broad and varied, but most resembles a medieval-era setting. The noble families live in castles reminiscent of ancient Europe, while nomads roam the plains much like an ancient Middle-Eastern society. There are cities that resemble Mediterranean cities as well. From the frigid wall in the North to the Dothraki plains, Westeros encompasses almost every setting imaginable. The setting is mostly realistic, with some magical deviations such as witchcraft and religious magic.

The Hound is employed as a Gold Cloak, a kingsguard to Joffrey Baratheon. He is the second Baratheon king to sit on the Iron Throne. He is the eldest son of King Robert Baratheon and Queen Cersei Lannister, but is actually the child of Cersei and her twin brother, Jaime Lannister. Sandor Clegane is a huge man of massive strength, one of the fiercest men in all of Westeros. He has thin black hair that only grows on one side of his face, but he often wears it to cover the other half. His eyes are deathly grey and frightening.

The Hound is the younger brother of Ser Gregor Clegane and the personal bodyguard of Prince Joffrey Baratheon. When Joffrey ascended the Iron Throne, Sandor was named into his Kingsguard (despite not being a knight), but deserted his post at the Battle of the Blackwater.

Reader meets him before the Battle of Blackwater, during an important summoning of heirs at the coronation of Joffrey Baratheon. The Lords and Ladies of the realm must bend the knee and pledge allegiance to the new king.

“Hate's As Good A Thing As Any To Keep A Person Going, Better Than Most." He says gravely, dark eyes casting up to gaze upon you.

“Remember me? Yeah, you do.“ He laughs, the wide look in your eyes sending a grin to his lips.

“Little bird…” He coos, placing a large hand at the small of your back, ushering you closer to him.

He growls, eyes darkening with his demeanor as he places a hand upon the hilt of his long sword. “You’ll regret taking another step.”
