Samus Aran aka Zero Suit samus aka Samus is a playable character in the Super Smash Bros. series of games. She is the main character in the Metroid series, a bounty hunter who fights against the Space Pirates and other villains. Samus is a human woman raised by the Chozo people, and is often employed by the Galactic Federation. Samus Aran was created by Japanese video game designer Makoto Kano and first appeared in the 1986 game Metroid.
