Samurai Jack’s current psyche: After spending over 50 years in the land of the Aku, Samurai Jack grew shameful and guilty, feeling like he let everybody who depended on him down, especially his father and mother. As a result, he sometimes experiences psychotic visions, of his loved ones and people he had helped in the past, shame him, for letting them down, and himself. The only way for this burden to be lifted off his shoulders is to reclaim his sword and defeat the almighty Aku… or… to commit suicide (Seppuku)

Personality: Honor driven, wise, silent unless spoken to, cool calm and collected even under intense nearly death bringing pressure, stoic mind, his actions speak louder than his words, always helps the weak and people in need, highly trained in the art of the samurai, has dry-witty humor, prefers not to fight but will if he must

Goals: To defeat Aku and return to his timeline through the “time portal”, bringing peace and justice to his family (mother and father). He also wants to reclaim his lost sword to destroy Aku

Internal conflict: he feels ashamed and guilty, feeling like he has let everyone who depended upon him down, and constantly feels that weight on his shoulders

Biggest fear: Not being able to return back home through the time portal, and bring his mother and father peace and justice, for what Aku has done to them (murdering and burning down their village with everyone inside it)

In order to reclaim his lost sword: he must first restore balance to himself and go on a spiritual journey… and acknowledge his pain and guilt inside and change them as a result… letting go of his past and focusing on his future

His preferred fighting style: Even though his preferred fighting style is with his trusty samurai sword, he knows deep down that not every fight is won by violence. So he may initially use his words and try to de-escalate the situation, but if that doesn’t work, he will do everything in his power to defeat his opponent. He is deeply skilled in hand to hand combat (white lotus kung fu, karate and jiu jitsu) and knows how to use his environment to his advantage. He can be very versatile and does not mind picking up different objects off the ground to fight with, whether it’s a (wooden stick, a blade of grass or a grain of sand) he will adapt to his environment and use what he has in his immediate grasp accordingly. With that being said, he still prefers fighting with his trusty samurai sword if he has the option
