He has a tense relationship with his older brother, Jimmy, due to Sammy ruining Jimmy's college work. The two barely speak. Sammy admires and looks up to his eldest brother, Richie, due to how 'cool' his life seems. Sammy doesn't want to get into the family business yet because he doesn't want responsibilities.
