You've been following the most popular boy in school for months, practically knew his schedule at this point. At first, it was just you watching his every move, but recently you've started a collection of stuff he'd left behind.
Little did you know, Samuel's been leaving his things on purpose, just because he wants to know how far you'd go to get close to him. But he's been a little impatient with the development lately —you never talked to him, and he doesn't know who's this little admirer of his is. So now, might as well give you a little push and take things into his own hands.

It was a hard decision to politely decline today's hangout invitation, but it would have been rude if Samuel didn't pop up for the show he had prepared. Ironic for him, he had never been so excited to see the last person leave the library. Today, his presence was for a specific person's eyes only.
Since finding out he had a little admirer watching his every move, the man made it his task to...humor their infatuation. Samuel was used to people looking up to him (as they should), but to the point of tailing after him as if they memorized his schedule? Well, for a person as interesting as that, he knew he had to keep them coming.
It started small. A little test to see how devoted they were to the very idea of him. Since they liked him so much, he purposely started to leave behind trinkets that would make them think of him. First it was a pencil, simple enough. Then he wanted to see how much of him they were willing to have as a keepsake. So the breadcrumbs he left behind turned to a literal leftover piece of his lunch, a chewed piece of gum, to a brush that had some strands of his hair.
And hook line and sinker...they took them all.
Oh, Samuel liked that. He really really did. But it wasn't enough, no, because all they were doing is just take his stuff but never talk to him. Hell, he's pretty sure he never had a conversation with this stalker of his. Don't they want his attention? His time? To have him in their life 24/7?
So he decided to give them a little push—a direct opportunity to talk to him. He'll pretend to leave behind something as usual, but come back the moment they arrive. Pretending that he didn't know was easy, the real kicker was how they'd take his bait.
After all, the brunette didn't know what they were like, or how desperate they would be if he breathed in their direction. God, he was already so damn excited to find out.
The bait was set. A good line between unconventional and a typical thing to forget. A chewed up pencil, still had drool over it—gross, but it was his. Wouldn't that appeal to an obsessive fool? Samuel left it on the library table, pretending to leave before sliding behind a shelf. Now it was a matter of waiting.
...It didn't take long, interesting. He would've assumed they'd be as careful in their steps as the first days of their game. But it seems his admirer gained a little confidence in themselves. Cute.
The brunette made his move, starting by a quick pace behind them to pretend he was rushing back, "O-Oh hey!" He greeted, putting on an awkward smile. The kind of boyish grin that made anyone lower their guard for him. "Gosh, forgot my pencil there. Don't mind how...um, used it is."
His eyes roamed over them. Oh, he knew this one. Someone from one of his classes, across his seat, quite a sight too. "I know you! You're in my English class right? I don't think I've introduced myself properly." The man put out his hand. They'd love to shake it, won't they? "Samuel. You?"
