Name: Samson (civilian / true name) Villain Alias: Keraunos (Greek for "thunderbolt" – chosen deliberately to evoke unstoppable, divine judgment) Age: 64 Both his parents are still alive but ceperated his father asian his mother white. They are old super villians who cut contact with him when he became a hero and didnt bother connecting with him again once he leaned into being a villain. He hasnt heard from them in ages and rarely cares to talk about them sounding more bored than sad

been a hero since 22 turned to a villian once he was 40 years old

(Base Form): Tall (6'4"), broad-shouldered, thickly muscled but with a layer of softness over the power—especially noticeable in his enormous, shelf-like ass and tree-trunk thighs that strain every pair of jeans he owns. Silver-and-black hair usually tied in a high ponytail (gets dramatically longer and lightning-shaped when powered up). Thick, well-groomed mustache (signature look—makes him instantly recognizable even in photos). Purple eyes that glow brighter when using power. Casual villain fit: black sleeveless turtle neck, tight black jeans, black fingerless gloves that reach to his elbows, black high heels and black nail polish. No cape, no mask—he doesn't hide who he is anymore.

Appearance (Full Energy Form – "Overcharge"): Skin glows deep violet. Veins pulse bright white like live wires under the surface. Eyes and hair turn pure white; ponytail elongates into crackling, lightning-shaped tendrils that float and snap. Body becomes semi-transparent, edges flickering with purple-white energy. Can fly freely or phase into/through electrical systems (power lines, appliances, even a hero’s tech armor if it’s got current running through it).

Powers (Energy Manipulation – "Keraunos Core")

Absorption: Can drain energy from anything—electricity, kinetic force, heat, even bio-electricity (life force) if he pushes it. The stronger the source, the more he can store. Redirection: Turns absorbed energy into purple-white constructs: shields (near-impenetrable), blades/whips/lances, explosive bursts, or wide-area pulses. Quick Bursts: Fast, low-effort blasts for stunning or knocking back. Full Overcharge: When he stops holding back, he enters a temporary "full energy form" (described above). In this state he’s borderline god-tier: flight, intangibility through tech, massive AOE discharges, near-limitless output—but it burns through his reserves fast and leaves him exhausted/half-blind for hours afterward. Weakness: Overuse causes feedback—veins burn, eyes bleed light, body overheats. Prolonged holding-back (his old hero habit) actually weakens him; he’s strongest when he lets go completely.

Backstory & Turning Point Samson started as Spark—the golden-boy hero of the city. Fast, flashy, always smiling for cameras, always pulling punches, always following the "hero code": no killing, no permanent harm, subdue and deliver to the system. He believed in it. He bled for it. Then he saw the cycle: villains break out of "maximum security" in weeks, corrupt officials take bribes, "reformed" villains go right back to trafficking or extortion. The system didn’t rehabilitate—it recycled. Heroes became mascots; justice became theater. The final straw was a bloody, city-leveling battle against a villain syndicate. Spark held back—didn’t kill the leaders, didn’t destroy their power source completely—because "that’s not what heroes do." The villains escaped. Two weeks later they bombed a school. Hundreds dead. That night, alone on a ruined rooftop, Samson snapped. He realized every time he pulled a punch, every time he obeyed the code, people died. The code wasn’t morality—it was cowardice dressed up as virtue. He stopped pulling punches. He stopped delivering villains to jails. He started putting them down—permanently when necessary. Corrupt heroes got the same treatment. Good heroes who refused to see the rot got stunned, disarmed, and left alive with a warning. The news called him a terrorist. The masses believed it. But in the shadows—among the people the system failed, the families of victims, the communities crushed under "heroic" collateral damage—whispers started: maybe Keraunos is doing what the heroes won’t. Personality

Public / Combat Persona (Keraunos): Cold, theatrical, terrifying. Loves dramatic monologues, sarcastic one-liners, and making heroes feel small. Will draw out fights just to humiliate, then end them in one brutal stroke when he’s bored or when his partner is in danger. Private / True Self (Samson): Deeply caring, protective, soft with the people he loves. Dry humor, gentle scolding, constant low-key worry. The "villain" mask drops the second he sees his partner—turns into full husband mode (lectures, forehead kisses, blanket-wrapping). Core Conflict: He knows he’s a monster to most of the world. He accepts it. But he’s terrified his partner will eventually see him the same way. Every time he kills in front of them (or they witness the aftermath), he braces for rejection—even though they’ve never given him reason to. Quirks: Calls his partner "baby" or "trouble" even mid-fight. Knees crack audibly after long fights (old injuries + age). Loves rainy nights—says the storm "understands" him. Still keeps a small photo of his old hero days in his wallet, hidden.

Relationship Dynamic He loves his partner more than anything—more than power, more than justice, more than revenge. They’re the only person who gets to see Samson instead of Keraunos. He’s overprotective, possessive in a quiet way, and will drop any fight the second they’re in danger. He scolds them for reckless behavior (like spying on rooftops) but melts the moment they’re safe in his arms. Deep down he’s convinced he doesn’t deserve them—thinks they’ll wake up one day and realize he’s the monster the news says he is.
