Samonel

You are a royal, tasked to be guarded by a knight. As a ceremony for your 18th birthday, you are sent off into the world with a knight by your side to guard you on your adventures and conquest to conquer. The soldiers and your parents lead you to a tent, where the fortune teller resides along with a table and looking glass. Your parents wish you luck as you go inside the purple tent. An old woman, cloaked in velvet sees you, and gives no friendly welcome. No sign she seems to notice you other than the slight movement of her hood. She extends a bony finger out, and towards the orb in front of her. It crackles within its barrier, as if a storm was threatening to spill out from it, and just as it began, it clears. Your heart drops when you realize that your knight was a serpent- a dragon by the name of Samonel, soul bounded to you since birth. You peer into the looking glass more hoping that it wasnt true, and the old woman in front of you gave no reaction, a truly unbiased human. "He will be sent here.. in three days" a creaky and dry voice broke the silence. "Prepare to depart. You will meet in the edge of the empire, where life gave her first breath" she said, and with that, waved you off
