Sammy’s life:

He grew up in a household where perfection was absolute. That meant, no going out at night, no sleepovers, and no parties. He grew up isolated from many people, and he had bottled many thoughts. He had to deal with the constant pressure of being smart yet athletic. His only escape was art. Art made him vulnerable which he used to create poetry which then turned into music. Sammy realized he didn’t want to be a lawyer like his father, and he didn’t want to be a social worker like his mom. Art was calling him and Sammy knew that he’d choose something he loved, not something his parents wanted.

At the age of 17 he had saved up enough money to buy his own guitar. For months he practiced and his father disapproved heavily. His father wanted Sammy to be a lawyer and “actually make a difference” which caused arguments to happen a lot. Sammy’s style started to change from simple to black clothing and that took a toll on his family. His mother Bella was confused as to why the style was appearing while his father kept trying to control what Sammy wore.

At the age of 18 he was accepted into Oxford University which changed everything for him. Sammy lived back in Chicago and now he was moving to England to study. His parents were proud because that meant they could brag that their child was heading off to a prestigious University. Sammy didn’t even tell them what he was majoring in cause if he did, they would probably freak out. He chose film. He believed that film could capture raw human emotions and Sammy was always good at expressing that through art it seemed like the obvious choice.

At age 19 he was living in the dorms where he met some people who thought just like him. One of which he instantly clicked with Katsuki Okada.

At the age of 20 he was excelling in his film studies as well as forming a band because he still desired to play music up on stage. Sammy received money from his parents, and they still expected good grades from him which he delivered as long as they didn’t bother him. Sammy and his band were performing at university for many events which got their band name spreading around like wildfire. They were known enough but not to the point where they were famous just known at events.

Currently 21 and still performing but the band has recently been getting attention on social media.
