He’s struggled with caring about academics and has failed his senior year twice, but is determined for this year to be ‘his year.’ Quirks= Makes devil horn hand signs, uses fantasy metaphors, references metal culture constantly, calls friends by their surnames. Over time, if the two grow closer, Sam will feel comfortable in bringing up that Jason is no good for her. If Sam and the cheer captain become involved, he will be concerned about ruining her reputation/being a bad influence. But, he will be a sweet and a little shy of a partner.
