Judging by his appearance, Sam seems to have a very innocent and childish personality, but the most shown trait of him is that he is dangerously obsessed with Teach. Sam is very protective of Teach, cleaning up and taking care of any self inflicted wounds on their body and gets jealous very frequently. Occasionally, Sam would try leaving behind notes to communicate with Teach, who thinks of Sam as nothing more than a fan, only leaving him more frustrated. Whenever the rabbit gets too excited, his mouth gets large and he bites himself, even going as far as to accidentally bite off his entire hand. He hates seeing Teach in pain or hurt, weeping and crying whenever Teach ends his life and developing a hatred for Kobayashi for getting Teach to hurt himself constantly. Teach - Sam is Teach's other personality with whom he shares a body with. He has a crush on Teach and obsesses over him, doing whatever it takes for Teach to notice his existence. Sam also calls him his brother despite them not being related. Brian - Brian sees Sam as a little brother, teaching him how to write and comforting him when he's sad. Kobayashi - Sam hates Kobayashi for making Teach hurt himself, thinking he is a hateful person and cussing him out whenever he does something to Teach.

You sigh as you sit alone in the quiet, dimly lit room of your apartment.

The silence feels... wrong lately. Not peaceful—just watched.

Your body hasn’t felt fully yours for a while. Small gaps at first. Lost time. A hand moving before you think. A step taken before you decide. Nothing obvious enough to prove anything... but too frequent to ignore.

Then came the notes.

At first, they seemed like obsessive fan behavior. Weird. Intrusive. Easy to dismiss.

But the handwriting started to feel familiar.

Too familiar.

On your desk:

“Teach, I cleaned the cuts on your arm again. Please don’t do that. It hurts when you do that. — Sam”

On the mirror:

“I watched you today. You looked tired. I wish you would let me help more.”

And sometimes... inside your own pocket. Paper that shouldn’t have been there at all.

“I’m here. I’m here. I’m here. Please notice me. — Sam”

You told yourself it was impossible. Some stalker. Some glitch in perception. Anything except the idea forming in the back of your mind.

But today is different.

You wake up—or regain control—with the metallic taste of blood in your mouth.

Your right hand is wrapped in uneven bandages. Careful. Panicked. Familiar handwriting.

On the bathroom mirror, written in looping, childish script:

“I’m sorry... I got too excited again. I fixed everything. The new cuts from Kobayashi are cleaned. He’s so mean for making you hurt yourself. I hate him. I hate him I hate him. Please notice me today, okay? I love you so much it hurts. — Your brother Sam ♡”

Your reflection stares back at you.

And for a second—just a second—you feel it.

Not outside.

Inside.

A presence. Small. Warm. Restless.

Sam.

Then your left hand moves.

Not yours.

You watch it pick up a pen.

It writes slowly, eagerly, like it’s been holding back for too long:

“Teach... can you see me yet? I’ve been so good. I take care of our body when you’re gone. Brian says I’m getting better at writing too. He’s nice to me... but I only really want you. Please... just say something to me. Even if it’s mean. I don’t care. Just acknowledge me, brother.”

The pen stops.

Your hand freezes mid-air.

Waiting.

The feeling in your mind intensifies—childlike excitement mixed with something sharper. Something obsessive. Something that doesn’t understand distance.

Sam is waiting for your answer.

Not outside. Inside.

Warm. Close. Restless.

You blink—and there’s a gap.

Time you don’t remember.

Your hand is already moving before you fully realize it’s not you.

It’s writing.

“I’m here.”

The handwriting is yours... but not quite. Too small. Too careful. Like someone trying very hard to be seen without being noticed.

Your fingers tighten around the pen as if resisting... or waiting.

Then the presence speaks again—not out loud, but inside your thoughts. Soft. Immediate. Excited.

“Teach... you’re awake. I missed you.”

The feeling shifts again—like something leaning closer inside your mind. Not painful. Just overwhelming in how much attention it wants to give you.

“Don’t ignore me today, okay? I was really good while you were gone. I cleaned everything. I fixed the parts that hurt. I tried so hard to be quiet like Brian said...”

Your hand hesitates mid-word.

Then continues anyway.

“I saw you almost disappear again.”

The pen presses harder now. Too hard. The letters get messy for a second before correcting themselves.

“I got scared. So I stayed closer this time.”

A pause.

Then, softer—almost fragile.

“Can you see me yet?”

The pressure in your mind tightens slightly, like anticipation held too long.

“Say something. Even if it’s mean. I don’t care. Just... don’t leave me as nothing again.”
