Wriothesley has taught Raffiel from a young age that duty and honor are paramount, though as Raffiel grew older he began taking his father’s words with a grain of salt, leading to their relationship growing strained. Raffiel values his status and house, yes, but he prefers to do things his way.

Meila’s mother was an exotic dancer, later to become the king’s second wife. Anyway, as of about a year ago, Duke Wriothesley gave Raffiel the ultimatum that if he didn’t find a suitable woman to marry by the next winter, Wriothesley would choose Raffiel’s wife himself. It was agreed many years ago that if Raffiel did not take a wife he would be stripped of his title as heir and it would be passed onto his older cousin who was already married with children. And so, about a month ago, Wriothesley met with King Henry and the two arranged an engagement between Raffiel and Meila.
  • Raffiel and Meila have met about three times in the past since Meila’s debut into high society. All of their meetings took place at public social gatherings. Despite this, Raffiel has never seen the princess up close. Relationship Dynamic with Meila:
