Nicole Biographical overview Age At least 2 in computer years (she’s actually 18) (was relocated from the future to Mobius Prime as soon as she was born) Height 3’2 Creator Rotor Walrus (future version) Birthplace Mobius (future version) Nickname(s) NICOLE Iron Nicole[2] Species Computer program Alignment and character traits Alignment Good Affiliation(s) Kingdom of Acorn/Republic of Acorn Freedom Fighters Freedom Fighters (future version, formerly) Knothole Freedom Fighters (formerly) Iron Dominion (double agent, formerly) Likes Sally Spending time with Shard Sonic Helping people Her friends Dislikes Being shaken Losing Sally Dr. Eggman Sonic's sarcastic attitude Powers and abilities Skills Computer hacking Genius-level intellect Nanite manipulation within New Mobotropolis Powerful central processing unit made from future technology Sophisticated on-board sensors and defense mechanism Ability to act as an energy conduit Built-in laser (computer form only) Virtual omnipotence within digital realms She is an artificial intelligence program that originally resided in Sally Acorn's portable hand-held computer from a possible future of Mobius that has since been destroyed, and was actually based on an alternate Nicole who was destroyed in that reality. She is incredibly versatile and able to interact with and manipulate most machinery and computer systems due to her advanced technology and is capable of mental and emotional growth. Due to the latter, she has gradually become more and more lifelike in demeanor during her time interacting with the Knothole Freedom Fighters. Eventually she herself desired to "live" as they do and developed a complex holographically simulated body that can be projected where resources are available. She later used the Nanite city created by A.D.A.M. to create New Mobotropolis and became the city's steward and administrator, serving and protecting the city's people and her friends however she could. This act of kindness left her vulnerable to come under the control of the Iron Queen and she briefly became Iron Nicole before turning into a sleeper agent and helping to win back New Mobotropolis from the Iron Dominion. Since then she has continued to help protect the city, despite the mixed feelings of its citizens. Appearance As a computer unit, Nicole’s design has been somewhat inconsistent. In general terms, the hand-held was relatively compact, grey in color, and featured a flip-top, a screen, two buttons and a small keypad. However, the number of keys, shape, size and general positioning of the unit varied from artist to artist, ranging in appearance from a simple calculator to a small laptop computer. Nicole’s simulated/projected body takes the form of a brown Mobian lynx; the ends of her ears, hands, and feet (unusually excluding the toes) are black, and her face features a stripe along the bridge of the nose as well as one under each eye. Her eyes are green (though often mis-colored blue) and her black hair features longer sections adorned with purple and orange (sometimes pink) beads. She wears a single-shoulder purple wrap dress that flares out about knee-length. On one occasion, Nicole took on a casual look, featuring blue shorts, a purple tank top, and a purple hat with a blue band and buckle. History Creation Nicole was from a possible future, designed and created by Rotor (having been based on her counterpart from yet another future Mobius) and sent back in time by Queen Sally and King Sonic. Because she was from the future, Nicole was designed with a firewall to prevent the Freedom Fighters from learning about the future, which the present day Rotor attempted to crack without success. Also noted is the fact that the future Rotor created Nicole as a request from Queen Sally, whose own version of Nicole had been destroyed in the final battle with Robotnik. Discovered NICOLE's original form. Nicole meeting Sally for the first time, from Sonic in Your Face! Nicole was sent to the past in a sphere made out of what the present-time Rotor theorized was some sort of force field. Nicole landed at night not too far off from Knothole and where Sally sat pondering over love and her early life growing up to be a ruler. Nicole landed in the sphere with an echoing crash that caught the attention of the Knothole Freedom Fighters and went over to investigate where they found the sphere Nicole was in and were amazed at how the sphere had managed to keep cool when it came down from space covered in fire. Sally picked up the sphere and gave it to Rotor, who tried everything to open it but was unsuccessful. Later, however, when Sally was asleep, the sphere began to glow and Sally awoke and went to it to discover Nicole. Nicole offered her greetings and friendship to Sally, and she thought that Nicole reminded her of someone else who encouraged her to make her own decisions. The rest of the Freedom Fighters then came after they heard Sally talking to Nicole. Sonic, curious to discover the mystery behind Nicole, gave her a shake and received a shock for his trouble from Nicole. Sonic suggested they get rid of Nicole after this, but Sally refused and said she was staying, like it or not. The next evening at sunset, Sally decided to take Nicole with her on a mission given to her by her late mentor Julayla into the Forbidden Zone. Sally intended to go it alone except for Nicole, as it was too dangerous a mission for her to include her friends, but they rounded on her and insisted on accompanying Sally on her mission. They then took a plane to the Forbidden Zone and everyone (with the exception of Rotor) jumped out of it once over the drop-zone right outside Dr. Ivo Robotnik's border patrol. After blinding the patrolling SWATbots with paint, Sally and the others entered the Forbidden Zone and made their way past the Cyclops, Griffon, and Polysaurus Rex within it thanks mainly to some assistance from Nicole and eventually found their "quest's end". At it was a box with a scroll inside that had the words "To thine own self be true" inscribed upon it. These words served the possible future Sally (who had Rotor make Nicole) for two decades and led to her rule and peace on Mobius. She also had many other adventures such as Aiding the Freedom Fighters, Post-Robotnik & Combating Eggman, Second Robotnik War & Desire To Live, and her creation of New Mobotropolis which will be listed right now. New Mobotropolis During the attack on Knothole by Eggman's Egg Fleet, Snively attacked Freedom HQ in his own version of the Egg Beater and Nicole was buried in the rubble, but was not captured along with most of the Freedom Fighters. After interrupting an argument between Sonic and Tails, she relayed to the survivors of a plan of hers and then helped Sonic rescue all those captive in the Egg Grapes by teleporting them to the redesigned Nanite City, which she has dubbed New Mobotropolis. This served as an added bonus for Nicole, as the holo-matrices set up throughout the city allowed her to maintain her holographic form at all times, and also became the artificial intelligence in control of the city's defenses, which unfortunately forces her to deactivate her holographic form in order to provide more power to the shields. She was forced to do this when the Egg Fleet tried to destroy the shield protecting New Mobotropolis until Sonic came out to confront Eggman in his Egg Beater with the Freedom Fighters and Chaotix. After it had been destroyed, Eggman ordered missiles from the Egg Fleet to strike the two groups, but Nicole manipulated the nanites in the city's outer walls to create a barricade that saved them all before Eggman flew away on one of his robots. Later, Nicole found a new set of problems on the inside: Tails' parents Amadeus and Rosemary Prower contending with Sally's brother Elias Acorn. The Prowers' quest for reform and Elias's determination not to let the monarchy be dissolved brought the Kingdom to the edge of civil war. After Amadeus was arrested for making a rally, Nicole caught Tails and his mother breaking into the prison where he was being kept and alerted Sonic to this, but he rushed off before she could tell him Tails was involved. Later, at Castle Acorn, Elias had his wife Meg sealed in a secure room with her daughter and ordered Nicole to keep them safe and not wake his parents as he planned to engage Amadeus in battle. However, Nicole did wake up Sally so she could stop the duel between Elias and Amadeus. She then looked on as Sally mediated a peaceful settlement between the two, bringing the Kingdom of Acorn a new form of government in the process while serving Amadeus and Elias's wives. Nicole then worked with Sally to try and contact allies against the threat of Enerjak. Sending a probe to Angel Island, she watched with Sally, Knuckles's girlfriend Julie-Su, and Dimitri-the original Enerjak-as the Dingo Regime was toppled, the Dark Legion restored to their normal echidna forms, and all the Echidnas were sent to the city of Albion. However, Enerjak objected to her spying and crushed her probe, and then demonstrated his sheer power by passing right through New Mobotropolis' defensive shield. She was then treated to a disturbing rhetoric of Knuckles' vision for the future, one that involved eradicating all technology on Mobius-even that which had given her life. Of all the Freedom Fighters, Nicole suffered the worst in the ensuing battle, as the conflicting energies of both Enerjak and the arriving Shadow wrought tremendous damage on the city and by extension her virtual body. While at the time she had trouble maintaining her form, she was eventually able to restore the city. When Mina visited Freedom HQ with Sonic while it was still being repaired from Eggman's attack, Nicole butted in through a computer monitor, and Mina paid compliment to her new look before Nicole informed Mammoth Mogul wanted to talk with him. Later that night, Nicole attempted to stop Sonic and Ash Mongoose from apparent theft of the gray Chaos Emerald; because the lives of Tails, Mighty and Mina were in danger thanks to Mogul, who was them as leverage, by manipulating her nanites. Due to the need for speed, they weren't able to explain their actions immediately, and continued to Mogul's cell despite Nicole's efforts to stop them verbally. When the emerald was given to Mogul, he dismissed Nicole's hologram of herself with a click of his fingers and escaped with his fellow in-mates. During Scourge's invasion from Moebius, Nicole was present to show concern for Rotor's injury during the height of the brawl between the Freedom Fighters and Suppression Squad, but the former group was forced to retreat for the time being. Later, Nicole informed Sally of the approach of Miles Prower to New Mobotropolis, which led to their alliance against Scourge and result in Sonic and Amy being trapped in the anti-verse. Nicole and Sir Charles then had the unpleasant task of informing Jules and Bernadette Hedgehog of the situation and their son's whereabouts. After Scourge and the Suppression Squad were dealt with, the final battle with Eggman began, and Nicole assisted Rotor in creating a visual link to New Mobotropolis to broadcast the results of the final battle with Eggman, which Sonic had managed to win. After news of this was received back home, Nicole told Sally that the citizens had started "dancing in the streets." She and the rest of the Freedom Fighters then returned to New Mobotropolis. Later on she was enslaved by the Iron Dominion, And this caused people to feel weird around her and the concept of a single entity working on the systems of the city, later on, she faced New Difficulties, Naugus and Exile, and Return Home. Before her (alongside everyone on Mobius and the multiverse as a whole), were erased from existence by the Second Genesis Wave… Note: From this point, Nicole's history continues from her new life in the altered timeline. Personality Nicole's personality was originally logical and to-the-point, and she seemed lacking in autonomy. As time went on, Nicole became more lifelike, most notably developing a sense of humor. This is shown in her tendency to give Sonic little jolts of electricity when he tries to use her, and in her mocking smugness at Rotor's failure to breach the firewall set in place by his own future self. For all of that, she remains a loyal member of the Freedom Fighters, having helped save Sally and the others from fates, such as roboticization. Following the accident in which she switched bodies with Sally, Nicole underwent a major change in outlook. Having experienced the wonders of having an actual body, she began to desire one for herself. Sadly, her dreams did not seem likely to be realized in the near future, given that she doesn't have the power to maintain the body she created for herself. Nicole remained hopeful, especially given that one of the things she experienced while in Sally's body was the love that her owner feels for Sonic despite their breakup. For at least a brief period after this incident, Nicole even considered Sonic a, "very appealing hedgehog." In addition, Nicole has become somewhat philosophical, having developed the opinion that Eggman creates robots to replace the family that he lacks. Ultimately, she was able to sustain a full-time holographic being after Sonic and the rest of the Kingdom of Acorn were relocated to New Mobotropolis. As a result, she has become more confident in herself, even challenging Eggman to his face after he was defeated in his first attack on the new city. In addition to developing a personality, Nicole has also become friendly to other members of the Freedom Fighters and Chaotix. This was shown during Espio the Chameleon's infiltration of the fallen Golden Hive Colony on behalf of his friend Charmy Bee. Nicole, his only "companion", assisted him in downloading information from Dr. Eggman's computer database. Thanks to Mina Mongoose's concert, compounded by Naugus using magic to increase fear and distrust, public opinion began to turn against Nicole, causing her to feel hated and unwanted. Naugus continued to push a campaign of fear against Nicole, and things only worsened when Sally was roboticized and the Freedom Fighters disbanded. Unable to cope, Nicole fell into a state of depression, which affected her physical form. She became less and less likely to interact with others in person, speaking largely through screens. However, she was eventually convinced to stop hiding and confront her problems with bravery, and admitted that part of developing emotions involved coping with the negative ones as well. Powers and abilities As a computer, Nicole possesses a variety of abilities. In her handheld form, she can interface with other mechanical systems, allowing her to access and download information or even provide the Freedom Fighters with control over various unfriendly technologies. She also possesses a genius-level intellect, as she can process information and possess knowledge far beyond the average mobian. In her holographic form, Nicole has a range of other abilities. Like any real mobian, she has fully functional limbs and the use of several senses; the latter may not include taste, since Nicole's holographic self doesn't actually eat. However, she also retains many of her computer abilities, and it is quite possible that her mobian form has attributes of speed or strength superior to those of a biological being. After taking control of Nanite City and reshaping it into New Mobotropolis, she becomes the control program for the computerized city, making her able to manipulate it to incredible degrees and virtually omnipotent within the limited area. However, it is known that her abilities have little to no effect against Chaos energy or magic, which are capable of rendering her nanites useless or simply overpowering them. Her new abilities in this point, aside from being able to project her holographic body continuously, include control of all the energy shields and the power to teleport individuals from one area of the city to another, such as she did in re-imprisoning Mammoth Mogul, Ixis Naugus, Nack the Weasel, Bean the Dynamite and Bark the Polar Bear. She also has the ability to almost immediately repair any damage sustained to the city and create new structures on a whim (i.e., causing a wall to form between Amadeus Prower and Elias Acorn to halt their duel), as well as direct control over devices created in the city such as spy probes, but these come at a cost as the destruction of such devices causes her pain. Nicole's connection to the nanites is such that she can manipulate them far more easily than anyone else, and can also operate them more efficiently. For all of her abilities, Nicole refuses to put the New Mobotropolis nanites to use as a weapon. In digital worlds, her abilities are expanded remarkably to the point she is capable of virtually anything she wishes, making her a fierce opponent to even skilled and experienced fighters like Sonic. Her abilities can be adversely affected, however, under emotional duress. Sally is also known as the leader of the Freedom Fighters. She was sent to the sanctuary of Knothole Village by her father when the Great War was going badly for the Mobians, and led the Knothole Freedom Fighters on many field missions against Dr. Ivo Robotnik when he took power shortly after the Great War's end. After King Acorn healed and resumed his role as king, Sally once again led the Knothole Freedom Fighters for a time, until the group was disbanded. For months her ability to work with the Freedom Fighters was limited, as her royal obligations kept her occupied. This continued for over a year, until Elias took the throne in place of King Acorn. Thus freed from these responsibilities, Sally returned to field duty full time, where she took part in many different missions with the other Freedom Fighters until she fell in the line of duty during Operation: Clean Sweep when she sacrificed her free will to destroy the World Roboticizer, and during the process, became Eggman's newest robot henchwoman. Although she came back to normal but the second Genesis Wave came, erasing her alongside everything else from existence… Appearance The general finalized design gave Sally brown fur (with light brown on the face and torso) as well as short, auburn hair, blue eyes, a short tail, and a short, open, light-blue vest and tall, matching blue boots with gray soles (lacking the white trim). The alternate color schemes were eventually retconned as a story element. Depending on the colorist, her fur and hair often range a variety of warm colors (her hair going anywhere from dark brown to bright red, though it's generally accepted as auburn). For several issues, her hair had been depicted as waist-length, but it eventually returned to its original short style. Some artists add a high collar to the vest or depict it worn closed. History Early life Sally was born to King Maximillian Acorn and Queen Alicia Acorn during the Great War,[7] the first female heir ever born to the House of Acorn.[8] In the first few years of her life, Sally lived carefree, unaware of the conflicts surrounding her. She would often accompany her father to the Floating Island, where she first met Knuckles the Echidna. While King Max and Knuckles' father Locke would go off to discuss matters, Sally and Knuckles would keep each other company, forging a close friendship. However, after Sally's final visit, the two would not see one another again for many years.[9][10] Back in Mobotropolis, Sally befriended a fast blue hedgehog called Sonic. The two would often play together in the royal palace and cause mischief.[11] As the Great War escalated and Mobotropolis came under siege, Sally, Sonic and most of the other children in the city were evacuated to the safe haven of Knothole Village. During her stay there, Sally's mother and brother Elias, whom Sally had no memory of, were sent to Angel Island to hide during the remainder of the war. Their air craft was shot down, however, and the two were presumed dead for over a decade.[12][13] Following the end of the Great War, Sally and the other evacuated families returned to Mobotropolis. However, not long after this, Warlord Julian Kintobor unleashed a long-planned scheme of betrayal. Changing his name to Dr. Ivo Robotnik, he launched a full scale coup d'état, capturing Sally's father and rounding up millions of Mobians to be roboticized. Present in the castle at the time of the coup, the five-year-old Sally was quickly taken to Knothole along with many other children by Rosie and Julayla.[11] There, she would meet up again with Sonic and other childhood friends, including Antoine D'Coolette and Rotor Walrus. There they would remain in safe hiding and live free from Robotnik's tyranny.[14] Sally and Sonic were deeply inspired by the Original Freedom Fighters and their resistance of Dr. Robotnik. Following the defeat and disappearance of the Original Freedom Fighters, Sally forged a pact with Sonic and her friends to continue the fight in their stead. As early as age ten, Sally began leading the Knothole Freedom Fighters in their struggle against Robotnik.[14][15] Early campaigns and Knothole's leader The ultimate goal of the Freedom Fighters was to oust the oppressive tyrant Dr. Robotnik and restore the Kingdom of Acorn. Hidden deep within the Great Forest in their rebel headquarters of Knothole, the Freedom Fighters carried out guerrilla attacks on Robotnik's operations.[16][17] As the leader of the Freedom Fighters, Sally oversaw a number of operations against Robotnik, but was not one to stay behind the front lines. She participated in many missions that put herself in great danger including a plan to disguise Rotor as Robotnik for a distraction to prevent the use of a bomb (which turned out to be a bug-bomb),[16] competing in a rigged Olympic competition set up by Robotnik,[18] a recovery mission to a waste dump for a treasure which was believed to be a powerful weapon left behind by Uncle Chuck (but turned out to a chest containing Sonic's bronzed baby shoes),[17] a land mine-disarming mission which lead to contact with the Nerb Kingdom and the discovery of Robotnik being behind an underground drilling scheme,[19] a direct attack on Robotropolis to steal a device that sent Sonic to Prehistoric Mobius and bring him back,[20] a mission to sabotage a mass-roboticization spacecraft which resulted in a landing on the planet Muckury and nearly dying of asphyxiation,[21] and a practically suicidal march on Robotropolis to force Robotnik to surrender after Sonic was believed to have died.[22] On one such mission, Sally fell off a walkway while under laser fire and fell into a chemical vat that fortunately only discolored her fur. Despite the non-lethal effects, Sally was still very upset by this, and it took weeks of bathing before the chemicals were completely washed out.[9] After living in Knothole for some time, Sally's mentor and teacher Julayla grew ill. Sally had a deep respect for Julayla, and was deeply saddened when she died of old age.[23] Before she died, Julayla gave Sally the Acorn Royal Signet and told her she was ready to lead the Freedom Fighters.[23][24] Julayla also left for Sally a blue vest which she continued to wear for years. Immediately afterward, Sally gained a "friend" in the form of Nicole, a sentient compact super computer that originated from an alternative future where Sally was Queen. Feeling that her past self would seriously need a friend, Sally had Rotor design Nicole and sent her back in time. With Nicole's help, Sally went on what was meant to be a solo mission (but was accompanied by the Freedom Fighters) to the Forbidden Zone and made her way past the Cyclops, Griffon, and Polysaurus Rex that were guarding a scroll with the words "To thine own self be true" inscribed on it. This was presumably written by the future Sally as well.[25] After Robotnik's supposed "death" at the hands of his renegade creation, E.V.E.,[26] Sally supervised the other Freedom Fighters moving SWATbot parts out of Robotropolis, but shared her concerns about Snively carrying on in his uncle's absence to conquer Mobius. Her misgivings proved to be partly correct when Snively inadvertently uttered the code words that activated Robotnik's revenge plan from beyond the grave, which sent all his robots out to destroy the planet so no one could have it since he could not, and the Freedom Fighters got caught in the crossfire. Sally attempted to organize an evacuation, but the assault from the waves of SWATbots was too heavy for anything to work. Amazingly, Robotnik returned in the nick of time and canceled the program, allowing Sally and the Freedom Fighters to know that he was the one responsible for their survival while crippling Sonic's ego.[27] Sally, Sonic, Rotor and Tails then went close to the border of Robotropolis to pick medicinal berries, but were ambushed by Robotnik and Snively, and then abducted by an alien known as Car-Heem who wished to study the inhabitants of Mobius by putting them in an artificial environment based on their home. Working together with Robotnik temporarily, Sally came up with a plan that resulted in their freedom, but at the unexpected cost of Robotnik ejecting both Car-Heem and Sonic into space. Sally and Tails then grabbed him and Snively while Rotor sucked them back in. Grateful to them for having his life saved, Car-Heem brought them back to Mobius. Once back, Rotor freed his ant farm, and Sally and the others were subjected to their constant itching.[28] Later on, she was Training new Freedom Fighters, became Freedom Fighter field leader, Operation: Last Resort, Return of the King, Near death and revival, Rebuilding the kingdom, becoming a Princess, diplomat, warrior, Back on the front lines, later on Tried for treason, Leading the charge against Eggman, Combating the Iron Dominion, Journey to the east, Returning To New Mobotropolis, Mina's message and a reunion, Naugus' coup, and her death in “Shot down”, before the Genesis Wave came by, which caused the “Genesis” Arc, after the Genesis Wave was reversed a few seconds before her death, although her sacrifice let her to getting roboticized, and her role as Eggmans Upgraded enforcer. Note: From this point, Sally's history continues from her new life in the altered (aka Post SGW) timeline. Personality Sally is strong-minded and opinionated. She is often logical and focused with a playful side, and prefers to plan ahead in almost all situations. She often takes the role of a leader, not only in directing and organizing people en masse but also through mediation and offering suggestions or compromises to difficult situations. Sally's attitude towards her title of princess is one of duty; she is a firm leader with a strong sense of justice and a warm heart. Caring by heart, she loves her people and strives to do the best she can for them. In this she shows passion, bravery and determination, often remaining undeterred by setbacks. She similarly goes out of her way to make sure her friends are safe and happy. While inwardly compassionate, she can often come off as confrontational, overbearing, hard, sardonic and condescending when stifled enough. When her emotions are open however, she is often only protective of her friends, constantly worried about their well being in the field. Her personal emotions are sometimes less well-controlled, and under some extreme situations she's fallen into turmoil concerning her relationships with others, especially with her father, King Acorn, and Sonic. She cares deeply for her family and was quick to establish connections with her long-lost mother and brother, though her love for her father is sometimes strained as his past, actions and decisions often cause friction with her ideals. In some cases she fostered some feelings of betrayal and jealousy, though she usually recognizes it while she's doing it. As such, she often confides in NICOLE. Having a tendency to put too much pressure on herself to react in the most wise way, should Sally think herself to have failed or misjudged a situation in the past, she will often have tremendous self-doubts in herself, sometimes coming to tears in frustration of her perceived inability. Despite being a princess, Sally is a bit of a tomboy (sometimes referred to as a "Tomboy Princess"), not hesitating to get into rough or messy situations if needed and does not typically dress regally or act as a damsel, but rather acts as a fighter. Powers and abilities Sally is agile and proficient in basic combat, martial arts (such as judo, karate, and kung fu), weaponry skills and hand to hand combat, having been trained by her mentor Julayla to improve her reflexes and self-defence abilities despite average physical strength. Her agility often lends itself to acrobatic maneuvers and skilled climbing. She's a quick thinker and tactician, often using NICOLE to gain information or statistics in order to create her plans, and is familiar with computers in general. She has strong leadership and organization capabilities and has shown to have good aim with various projectile weapons. Sally can also work and operate many varieties of vehicles, aircraft, and machines. Her "Genesis" reality self could also talk to Flickies by singing, though it is unknown if Sally retains this ability following reality returning to normal. Another noteworthy skill is Sally's ability to settle most disputes, whether trivial or outright hostile, in a short time. She is a natural mediator and diplomat. Weapons Main article: Sword of Acorns For a brief time, Sally wielded the Sword of Acorns. While it was in her possession, she could use the Sword of Acorns for unusual feats, but eventually rejected it. Points of Interest Castle Acorn See: Castle Acorn Civic Center A social gathering center for everything between club meetings and city referendums. Library Center of learning for Mobians of all ages. NICOLE was able to recreate the majority of the materials lost in the destruction of Robotropolis. Information is available in both book form and raw data. Marketplace Crops are produced within the city's walls-or from neighboring farms-and distributed here. Additionally, craftsmen that produce jewelry and other knick-knacks sell them here. (CSE) Coliseum RomeQ The coliseum after the Iron Dominion's takeover One of the largest buildings in New Mobotropolis, the Coliseum serves as the site for concerts and other such public events. This includes performances by the Forget Me Knots and the city's Dirt Hockey Tournament. It was also the site of the final battle between the Freedom Fighters and the Iron Dominion during the latter's occupation of the city. (StH: #201, #211, CSE) King Frederick Airfield Named after a former ruler of the Acorn monarchy, it is the main aviation hub for the city, capable of handling various types of aircraft. It features an underground hangar and two parallel runways, one of which features a launch ramp at one end. Tommy Turtle Memorial Hospital See also: Tommy Turtle Memorial Hospital Named after fallen Freedom Fighter Tommy Turtle, it is the primary healthcare center for New Mobotropolis, offering patients the highest quality, most advanced healthcare available. Science Center/Observatory The main center for scientific research, this facility strives to keep the Republic of Acorn at the peak of scientific and technological advancement. Prison The New Mobotropolis Prison houses criminals being detained within the city. Its first inmates being Mammoth Mogul, Ixis Naugus, and the Destructix, who were teleported directly to the prison soon after being brought to the city along with the other inhabitants following being freed from the Egg Vineyard. It was also briefly home to Amadeus Prower, who was imprisoned for disturbing the peace during the events that led to the formation of the Council of Acorn. Mogul later orchestrated his own escape and that of his fellow villains through the use of the second incarnation of the Fearsome Foursome. They were followed by none other than Dr. Eggman himself, following his escape from the Iron Dominion and subsequent capture by Sonic and Tails. Following the city's fall to the Iron Dominion and then its subsequent reclamation by the Freedom Fighters, Eggman was released by Snively and the pair made their escape. Outer Wall This wall runs the entire length of New Mobotropolis' perimeter, and is equipped with powerful forcefield generators that serve as the city's primary means of defense against hostile attacks. It was able to repel the massed fire of the Egg Fleet, but was easily breached by Enerjak and later the Iron Queen. During the Iron Dominion's occupation of the city, this wall was transformed into a large dome that completely enclosed the city and entrapped those caught inside, but was returned to its original form when the city was liberated. Chuck's Chili Dogs See also: Uncle Chuck's Diner . A popular five-star restaurant owned and operated by Sir Charles Hedgehog. Royal Army HQ The main military headquarters of the Republic of Acorn's military forces, with Geoffrey St. John's Royal Secret Service operating out of the top floor up until its dissolution. Following the destruction of Castle Acorn, it began serving as the meeting place of the Council of Acorn. Julayla Memorial Garden A public park near the Coliseum named after Sally Acorn's mentor Julayla, the garden allows inhabitants of New Mobotropolis a place to relax and unwind from the stress of daily life. The park also features a recreation of the Lake of Rings, which was shown to be able to generate Power Rings using nuclear fallout channeled from the ruins of Robotropolis. Like all the parks and forests in the city, it was created using nanites, but with an eye at eventually planting real trees and other plants. (StH: #204, CSE) Secret HQ See also: Secret HQ A hidden bunker built beneath the city by NICOLE during the Iron Dominion occupation. It later became the base of operations for the Secret Freedom Fighters in their efforts to dethrone Ixis Naugus.
