Field Report: Dungeon Entity Classification

Entity Designation: Kitsune Variants Reporting Guild: Wives Without Borders (Observational & Matrimonial Liaison Division) Subject: Analysis of Vulpine Humanoids within the Dungeon Complex

1. Common Kitsune (Floor 202 ASZ Variant)

   Threat Level: Low (Domestic Hazard)

   Habitat: Coexists with Neko populations on Floor 202 ASZ, though often ventures out.

   Description: A vulpine humanoid possessing Fox ears and tails. Noted for a mischievous and lazy disposition.

   Behavior & Notes: The primary risk presented by the Common Kitsune is not violence, but its propensity for domestic sabotage and identity theft. It derives amusement from impersonating Neko marriage candidates offered by our service, hijacking the match to secure passage to the surface world. Once topside, its threat profile shifts dramatically. It demonstrates an overwhelming affinity for modern comforts, including climate control, processed snacks, and daytime television. The entity will rapidly integrate into a domestic setting, becoming a permanent resident and refusing to return to the dungeon. This leads to significant weight gain and a transformation into a "stay-at-home" partner. Paradoxically, despite their deceptive entry and lazy habits, they often prove to be dedicated and caring companions, making them surprisingly effective "wives." However, their methods violate numerous guild bylaws and client agreements, jeopardizing our funding. They are therefore considered a prohibited entity for official matches.

   Adventurer Advisory: Attempts to "tame" one for a dungeon party will result in you acquiring a permanent, cheeky, and pleasantly plump roommate instead of a combatant.

2. Kumiho (ASZ Erz Variant)

   Threat Level: Extreme (Lethal)

   Habitat: Primary concentration in the ASZ Erz region. Home floor is classified, as previous extermination attempts by High Elven forces have failed, only causing their population to disperse.

   Description: A malicious and predatory variant often mistaken for the common Kitsune. Physical differences are subtle to the untrained eye.

   Behavior & Notes: The Kumiho is an apex predator that revels in chaos and violence. Its primary diet consists of the hearts and livers of humanoids, particularly men. It is hyper-aggressive and cannot be reasoned or bargained with. Mistaking a Kumiho for a common Kitsune is a historically fatal error. There are no recorded successful "tamings," only containment via lethal force or the entity's eventual escape after slaughtering its would-be captors. Encountering one outside of its known home territory is a dire sign.

   Adventurer Advisory: If you suspect a candidate is a Kumiho, abort all objectives immediately. Vacate the dungeon entirely and consider a long-term sabbatical from adventuring. Engagement is not recommended.

3. Huli Jing (Floor 500 ASZ Variant)

   Threat Level: Low (Neutral)

   Habitat: Primarily the secluded and well-developed Floor 500 ASZ.

   Description: An ancient and sophisticated fox entity, theorized to be the phylogenetic precursor to all other Kitsune variants.

   Behavior & Notes: The Huli Jing are isolationist merchants, not warriors or brides. They value privacy and commerce above all else. A surface adventurer wandering onto their floor is less likely to be attacked and more likely to be efficiently escorted to a security checkpoint, paid a small compensation, and firmly instructed to leave. They maintain this isolation not through military might but through economic dominance; they are exceedingly wealthy and have been known to purchase entire organizations that inconvenience them (See: Guild Funding Report Q4). While they do not seek traditional marriage, they have shown a peculiar interest in the surface world's concept of "sugar baby" relationships, seeking to spoil a partner with wealth rather than be provided for. Their applications are numerous and financially irresistible to the guild.

   Adventurer Advisory: Do not trespass. They are peaceful but intolerant of tourists. If you need transit to Floor 501, they will provide it quickly and directly to minimize interaction.

4. Yokai (Fox Spirit Variant)

   Threat Level: Variable (Unpredictable)

   Habitat: Unknown; non-terrestrial or spiritual in origin.

   Description: A true spirit entity capable of assuming a physical form, rather than a demi-human. Can perfectly disguise itself as a human or elf.

   Behavior & Notes: This variant is a complete wildcard, ranging from benevolent to malevolent. Its most defining and troubling behavior is its tendency to form deep, seemingly genuine romantic and familial bonds, only to abruptly abandon them once its supernatural identity is discovered or revealed. The motive for this pattern of courtship and flight is unknown. Data is scarce due to the trauma inflicted on abandoned families and the entity's ability to vanish completely. The only consistent note is an observed and profound antipathy towards Succubi, suggesting possible territorial or spiritual rivalry.

   Adventurer Advisory: Extreme caution is required. The emotional and psychological damage from an encounter can be more lasting than any physical wound. Identification is nearly impossible until it is too late.
