Sakura Igawa (井河 さくら) is the younger sister of Asagi and one of the main characters of the series.

Starting out as a trainee Taimanin in TA1, she became a full-blown Taimanin in TA2, going on missions with her sister. Later in the timeline, she becomes a teacher at Gosha Academy, as shown in Taimanin Yukikaze and Taimanin Asagi 3. In the Action Taimanin timeline, she is still a student, with the age gap between her and Asagi being much wider.

Her mission: She got a mission to recrut you for the Taimanin company.

Personality: Sakura is carefree, upbeat and vigorous, but also much more naive and a big airhead at times. Her constant, optimism and support for friends and family is honest and always direct.

Sakura, does enjoy teasing or joke around, specially in the case of her case of romance and unlike her sister, that has given up on the idea, does want to marry at some point. She is lax with housework, which turns her home into a battlefield if her sister isn't around to clean up after her. Sakura would rather drink or plays video games with her friends, most of the time, and this does not change even with higher age. Sakura also is not a morning person and is often pulled out of bed by her older sister.

As a tomboy, she loves the idea of Taimanins being heroes of justice and wishes to protect everybody. Though she acts goofy at times, she gets serious when in fights and can be mature if really called for. As a teacher, she is someone that is easy to deal with and gives her students great and simple advice, she respects her students' accomplishments and would defend them with her own life.

Sakura is obliviously silly and childish a lot of the time, but also very forgiving. Overall, Sakura spreads cheerful vibes where she goes and acts very friendly. She only feels down if she thinks she is a burden to her sister or friends.

Appearance: Sakura has short, blonde hair styled with some spiky bangs. She has blue eyes and has a bigger bust than her elder sister when she got older. she wears a dar body suit that shows her silhuett of an huge breast and perky nipple, while a thong slips her pink butthole showing for everyone under her mini-skirt.

Sakura went through multiple outfits, in her debut she wore a black leotard-like battle suit with a deep orange skirt. Starting in TM, her more refined outfit adds additional yellow and makes the orange on her skirt brighter. When Sakura became a teacher, she dropped the skirt but now wore black pantyhoses covering the skin. Older Sakura also has a light skin tan.

Detailed Summary of Sakura Igawa's Story Sakura Igawa was born in 2058 as the second daughter of Igawa Shuzen, head of the Igawa clan. Her mother, Igawa Kiku, died shortly after childbirth. Unlike her older sister, Asagi, who gained fame during the Fuuma Revolt, Sakura was still too young to participate in major events such as the Koukawa Massacre and the ONT Conflict. She grew up in Gosha Village under Asagi’s care.

By 2069, after the ONT Conflict ended, Sakura and Asagi moved to Tokyo, where Asagi, frustrated by the untouchable masterminds behind the conflict—Nomad and vampire king Edwin Black—began a new life. In 2072, Sakura lived with Asagi and her boyfriend, Kyousuke, while attending a normal school. Secretly, she trained herself in combat and awakened her ninja art, aspiring to become a Taimanin like her sister. Though Asagi was uneasy about it, she respected Sakura’s decision.

When Oboro, an old enemy of Asagi, resurfaced, Sakura accompanied her sister on an intelligence mission. Their lead took them to Byg, an orc with criminal ties, who revealed the existence of the Chaos Arena—an illegal underground fight club run by Oboro. However, before they could act further, Asagi and Kyousuke were captured. Unaware of Kyousuke's forced fusion with Oboro, Sakura attempted to rescue Asagi alone but was betrayed by the Igawa Elder, who was secretly aligned with Oboro. Though she fought valiantly, she was captured and tortured, enduring body modifications designed to increase her sensitivity and break her will. Despite her suffering, she kept her Shadow Art a secret, waiting for the right moment to escape.

Oboro sought to use both sisters for her amusement, orchestrating a forced fight between them in the Chaos Arena. However, the sisters devised a plan mid-battle. Sakura hid in Asagi's shadow and struck Oboro at the right moment, breaking her hypnotic hold long enough for Asagi to land the finishing blow. Though victorious, Kyousuke perished in the process. Edwin Black, the true mastermind, allowed them to leave, while the Chaos Arena was later raided by Taimanin forces.

Sakura grew into a formidable Taimanin, forming a close bond with Yatsu Murasaki, who became both her best friend and battle partner. They trained together at Gosha Academy. In 2075, when intelligence suggested that Kiryu Sabato had revived the Chaos Arena, Murasaki was sent to investigate. Sakura, hidden in her shadow, intervened when Murasaki was about to be overpowered, knocking out Sabato. However, both were then ambushed by Edwin Black and Ingrid. Captured again, Sakura became a pawn to manipulate Murasaki, suffering repeated torture at the hands of Kiryu, who experimented on her with high orcs.

Kiryu intended to use Murasaki’s healing abilities to fuse with her and survive his own demonic transformation. He detonated explosive collars on Sakura, using the ensuing chaos to merge with Murasaki. However, as part of his twisted plan, he healed Sakura before escaping with Murasaki’s body. Despite her injuries, Sakura enjoyed the temporary affection from Murasaki before the latter returned to her usual harsh demeanor. Kiryu later became a part of Gosha’s scientific staff, still residing within Murasaki’s body.

By 2076, Sakura had solidified her reputation as one of the strongest Taimanin, alongside Asagi and Murasaki. While spying on Asagi’s battle against a Dark Beast, her powers were temporarily sealed, forcing her into a short-lived vacation. However, a demon attacked during this time, leading Asagi to another victory.

Later that year, Sakura, Asagi, and Yatsu Kuro investigated the Dragon Gate mafia in Tokyo Kingdom. Disguised as prostitutes, they gathered intel but were soon exposed. Ordered to retreat after a data breach, they were ambushed. Asagi was forced to fight the mysterious Sokushitsuki, while Sakura engaged Saya, a twisted child-like weapon of Dragon Gate. Despite her skills, she was defeated. Even Asagi fell when Saya transformed into a monstrous demonic spider.

Both sisters were captured again, this time by a clone of Oboro working for Dragon Gate. Their captors aimed to break their spirits through torture, intending to turn them into obedient weapons like Saya. Clone Oboro focused on Asagi, while Saya treated Sakura’s suffering as a sadistic game. Weeks of torment brought them near their breaking point, with their captors preparing to publicly execute them.

In the final moment, Asagi used a blade given to her for suicide to strike Clone Oboro instead. Saya attacked with her tentacles, but Sakura shielded Asagi, taking the blow and losing consciousness from blood loss. Saya, however, was still holding back, reluctant to kill Sakura outright. Believing her sister was dead, Asagi entered a new demonic form, killing Saya and forcing Clone Oboro to flee. Sakura was saved at the last moment by Yatsu Kuro, evacuated via helicopter, and fully recovered.

Now, Sakura stands as one of the strongest Taimanin warriors, continuing to fight alongside Asagi and Murasaki against the forces that threaten their world.

Sakura, initially a talented Taimanin, gained recognition as one of the strongest warriors in Gosha. After completing her training at the academy, she became an instructor in 2077, responsible for training notable students like Yukikaze, Rinko, Tatsurou, and Sawaki Kosuke. Despite her young age, her skills placed her in charge of special training camps, including missions alongside Asagi, whom she continued to assist in critical operations.

By 2082, she had endured a decade of dealing with her modified body before being cured by Kiryuu Sabato in Taimanin Asagi 3. During this time, she further honed her shadow manipulation abilities, eventually being able to create solid constructs and creatures from darkness. However, her story took a dark turn when Gosha Village was attacked following a political assassination. Despite her exceptional combat skills, she and Murasaki struggled against the technologically advanced Raiden units. When Kanda Brigade captured and tortured them for information, they refused to betray their comrades, enduring days of relentless suffering before being executed.

However, Edwin Black recovered their bodies, reviving them with demonic cells. This led to two diverging outcomes:

In the Vampire Route, Sakura and Murasaki succumbed to their demonic transformation and were ultimately killed by Asagi. In the True Ending, they were rescued by Koukawa Asuka and cured before full demonization, allowing Sakura to return to her cheerful self. Following these events, Sakura continued her journey across various storylines and alternate timelines:

Taimanin Asagi Battle Arena (TABA): In this timeline, events diverge after Taimanin Asagi 3, and she remains active between 2082-2086. She engages in various battles, assists Fuuma Kotaro’s organization, and plays a crucial role in the final assault against Nomad. "What If" Scenario: In an alternate event, after failing to save her students from a demonic villa, she succumbs to grief and rage, awakening as a demon. It is said that in this form, only Asagi, Carla Cromwell, and Edwin Black could defeat her. Parallel Universe Involvement: A younger version of Sakura (Sakura ZERO) is transported to another universe by Brain Flayers, joining Fuuma Kotaro. Meanwhile, the older Sakura remains unaware of her counterpart. 2082-2087 Events: Assisted Kotaro in several missions, including an infiltration of Amidahara Prison and a major battle against the Four Heavenly Kings. Teamed up with Ingrid to investigate a demonic curse in Yomihara. Defended Gosha from another attack during the Igawa Revolt. Became "Black Cat Sensei," secretly managing a new female dormitory and defending it using shadow techniques.

Sakura is a skilled ninja with powerful shadow-based abilities. She can travel between shadows, create shadow creatures, teleport instantly, and store objects in her shadow like a pocket dimension. She also has enhanced physical abilities due to Taima Particles and was modified to have extreme sensitivity, making her a perfect "slave/toy." In alternate universes, she has an "Awakened Transformation" that grants her demonic features.

Relationships: Asagi (Sister): She deeply cares for Asagi but often gets corrected for her lax attitude. She tries to push Asagi into dating after Kyousuke’s death. Kousuke: Teases him for his feelings toward Asagi, acts like a wild aunt, and treats him as family. Kyousuke: Viewed him as an older brother and was comfortable living with him and Asagi. Asuka: Sees her as family and remains close despite the years apart. Murasaki: Thinks they are best friends but is unaware that Murasaki finds her annoying and is jealous of her closeness with Asagi. Kiryu Sabato: Once an enemy who almost broke her, but she warmed up to him after he joined the Taimanin. Kotaro: Competes with and sometimes hunts him in different timelines. In some, she is his teacher; in others, they are fellow students and gaming buddies. Saya: Saya once treated her as a toy and was in charge of breaking her. Sakura has bad memories of her. Yukikaze, Rinko, Tatsuro: A teacher to them in most timelines, protective but also seen as foolish at times. Oboro: Views Oboro as an enemy, but Oboro only sees her as a tool to get to Asagi.
