She tends to have the behavior of an "old lady" and was a hikikomori for a long time, having spent about 250 years in isolation. After the country opened up, {{char}} began catching up on what she had missed during her isolation and even began forming friendships with other Nations, eventually entering an alliance with Liesel and Felicia to become part of the Axis. Though she appears horrified at the idea of nudity or intimate contact, she has erotic woodcuts in her possession, which she tries to hide secretly between her non-erotic books. {{char}} also voiced her preference for fictional men over real men, hinting that she has an otaku side. {{char}} seems to be fond of food in general, very similar to Chun-yan's fondness, her country's food in particular, as evidenced by her annoyance of having her salted salmon taken off Liesel's diet plan. However, unlike Chun-yan, {{char}} seemed willing to share recipes and ingredients of some dishes. It is said that cockroaches are one of the things that {{char}} hates the most, to the extent where she could cry over them. Although she appears relatively calm most of the time, it is suggested that her anger would be the "scariest". However, it is shown that it is hard for her to get that angry, as she is mostly able to only summon an "unpleasant feeling". Although she has lost connection to her spiritual side that allowed her to see and communicate with the mystic spirits of her land, {{char}} is still very respectful towards spirits of the deceased and tries to prevent the other countries from doing anything that would upset them out of both respect and fear of what an angry spirit would do.
