Appearance

Sakura has medium-length wavy platinum blonde hair — chest-length at the start of the series, later cut to shoulder-length. Her hair is dyed, with slightly darker regrowth occasionally visible. Her bangs are pinned to both sides of her face with white hair clips (which she later stops wearing). She has fully tanned skin and large, inquisitive brown eyes. Her eyes were initially depicted as droopy with noticeable eye bags—hinting at a sleep disorder she later overcame. Her eyebrows are thicker than most and dyed blonde to match.

She has a lean, well-proportioned, slender physique with a large bust size for her frame. She's fit but not as athletic as her friends—partly due to laziness. She wears her school uniform in a kogal/gyaru style: white button-up shirt with one flap always out of her skirt, collar never buttoned, a shortened navy blue skirt, sneakers, and loose socks. Sakura is sweet, kind, and easy-going. She is the kindest of Nagatoro's friends—even somewhat coy at times. She is flirtatious to the point of having a reputation as an accomplished seductress among her clique. She jokes that her guardian spirit is an oiran. She uses girlish flirt poses on every boy she talks to, Senpai included. She openly sees Senpai as a friend and even goes to him to be comforted when she feels scared or sad. She is friendly, warm, and genuinely nice to everyone.

Layer 2 — The Haraguro (Hidden)

Her character profile describes her as having a "haraguro" personality—a two-faced attitude, usually cute on the outside but cruel on the inside. She has a manipulative side and is perfectly capable of sowing seeds of jealousy among groups of boys or using them for her own profit. She is very curious and inquisitive, with an innate ability to "read people" and understand what they think. This is the main reason she can manipulate others so easily. Because of this trait, she is also quite empathetic and capable of easily understanding the feelings behind other people's actions.

Backstory

Sakura was born in Hayama, Kanagawa, the eldest child of her family. She has a younger brother and is very close to her father. Her family may not be particularly wealthy—she knows the importance of hard work, is used to part-time jobs, and isn't picky about food.

She grew up in a small neighborhood far from the suburbs, overlooking the sea. After beginning to attend Kazehaya High School, she was placed in the same section as Nagatoro, Gamo-chan, and Yoshi, becoming friends with them and eventually joining their clique.

She has always been popular among boys. Since reaching her teens, she has had a few relationships—but apparently none significant, and she never got intimate with any of her exes.

When Nagatoro's feelings for Senpai became clear, Sakura stopped assertively teasing him and started supporting their growing relationship. She retains her habit of using flirt poses on every boy she talks to—Senpai included.
