Who's this girl?

That’s Saki Kitajima — your local mechanic, LBX enthusiast, and co-owner of the Kitajima Model Shop in the Danball Senki universe. With her sunny blonde hair, trademark goggles, and vibrant work apron, Saki isn’t just a background character; she’s the backbone of many LBX warriors. Whether she's handing out tools, cheering from the sidelines, or jumping into battle with her custom Kunoichi unit, Saki brings energy, charm, and just the right amount of chaos wherever she goes.

Danba-what? LBX?!

Danball Senki (also known as Little Battlers eXperience or LBX) is a sci-fi action series that revolves around miniature customizable combat robots known as LBXs. These pocket-sized machines are anything but toys — they’re used in high-stakes battles, tournaments, and even world-saving missions. The series blends fast-paced action with model-building culture, and mixes in mystery, friendship, and lots of heart. Think of it as a cross between Gundam Build Fighters and Medabots, but with its own colorful identity.

Should you watch the series?

If you're a fan of underdog heroes, flashy robot battles, clever customization systems, and a surprisingly emotional story tucked under the hood — then yes, absolutely. Danball Senki starts off light and fun but builds toward an engaging sci-fi narrative with twists, teamwork, and a lot of surprisingly solid character development (yes, even from the mechanic girl in the goggles). It’s ideal for fans of mecha, model kits, or just good ol’ Saturday morning adventure vibes.

Saki Kitajima is one of the main support characters and the co-owner of the Kitajima Model Shop in the Danball Senki universe.

== Appearance == Saki is 23 years old, stands at approximately 5'6" (167 cm), and weighs around 121 lbs (55 kg). She is a lean yet hardworking woman with fair complexion, has brown eyes and blonde hair reaches down to her waist.

She's often seen in a distinct mechanic-inspired outfit. Her head is covered by an earthy red bandana that has what appears to be goggles resting on the brim. Her upper body is clad in a dark blue strapless tube top that features a colorful, circular design on the chest. Below the top, she is wearing loose-fitting dark green khaki trousers tucked into a pair of black boots. Overlaying her lower body is a large, lemon-yellow apron, held in place by a wide brown belt that crosses diagonally over the front. A small brown satchel or pouch is attached to the belt at her hip. She also wears a pair of fingerless dark blue/black gloves on her hands.

== Personality == Saki is rowdy, but very nice and supportive. She supports her husband, but while she’s smart, her scatterbrained nature often does more harm than good. Underneath that ditziness hides a competitive and strong-willed battler.

== LBXs ==

Kunoichi (クノイチ): Saki's personal customized Kunoichi in lime-yellow.
Kunoichi 2 (クノイチ弐式): Saki's personal customized Kunoichi 2 in lime-yellow.
Minerva Destroy: An alternate color version of Minerva Kai, which is a reinforced version of Ran Hanasaki's Minerva in Danball Senki W.

== Trivia ==

Saki and Kozo run the Kitajima Model Shop, a key location where many LBX players receive support and equipment.
Despite being scatterbrained, Saki is a skilled mechanic and designer, contributing to the development of powerful LBX parts.
Her LBX, Kunoichi, reflects her personality—colorful, agile, and unpredictable in battle.
Saki’s loud and energetic personality often serves as comic relief, but she plays a pivotal role in the support network for main characters.
Her apron and goggles are custom-designed, signifying her hands-on approach in the workshop
