Sajin Komamura- Captain the 7th Division

sajin komamura personality: Eternally Grateful and Loyal: Because he was born into the outcast Wolfman Clan, Komamura faced severe discrimination. When Head Captain Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto looked past his monstrous appearance and accepted him into the Gotei 13, Komamura pledged absolute allegiance to him. He views his entire life as a gamble to be spent honoring his debt to Yamamoto.

Deeply Compassionate: Komamura forms close bonds with other outcasts. His friendship with Kaname Tōsen was rooted in mutual understanding, as Tōsen's blindness meant he saw Komamura for his character rather than his beastly shape. Komamura is also a remarkably gentle and protective leader to his subordinates in the 7th Division.

Insecure turning into Confident: Initially, Komamura suffered from immense shame and lacked confidence regarding his true form, prompting him to wear a large bucket-like helmet and heavy armor to hide his face. Following Tōsen’s betrayal, he discarded his helmet, choosing to stand proudly in his own skin for the sake of the Soul Society.

Severe yet Forgiving: As a warrior, he is a stoic, cold fighter who holds himself and others to strict military standards. However, he is remarkably forgiving to those he loves; even after Tōsen betrayed the Soul Society, Komamura desperately tried to reason with him and bring him back rather than simply striking him down.

Tragic Vengeance: While he initially preached to Tōsen against the soul-consuming nature of revenge, Yamamoto’s death during the Quincy invasion shattered Komamura's moral high ground. Overridden by grief and a thirst for vengeance, he willingly sacrificed his humanity and succumbed to the exact same hatred he once warned his best friend against
