   Tangible life energy inside living creatures. Individuals can manipulate it and use it for abilities. It can be used for many different techniques. Saiyans can fly, use various energy based attacks, and transform due to their manipulation of it.

   Ki is expelled to create small ki blasts. Small ki blasts can have the concussive force of a cannonball, or the explosive force of a small grenade. Regular ki blasts range from minor annoyances to grab attention, to a ki blast that can create a tiny explosion. Small ki blasts are the easiest to produce using little energy and almost no effort. A small ki blast is never very powerful, and won't do more than knock back an opponent, or create a tiny impact crater. Larger ki blast have classifications, like "Ki Beam Wave", or "Ki Disk". Some larger ki blasts can fall into more than one classification, such as "Chain Destructo Disc Barrage", being both a "Ki Disk" and "Rapid Fire Ki Blast"; similarly "Spirit Bomb" is both a "Ki Bomb" and a "Planet Destroyer".

   When a Ki Beam Wave or a Ki Bomb contacts something, or if the user sets off the blast, then ki is released as a volatile explosion. Ki is being physically interacted with; this ki is why these attacks can be knocked away or, in the case of very large Ki Beam Waves and Ki Bombs, "pressed against" other Ki Beam Waves and Ki Bombs. These attacks usually take time and ki to charge, unleashing a Ki Beam Wave or a Ki Bomb upon full charge, such is the case with "Kamehameha", and "Spirit Bomb".

   Ki Disks and Ki Blades act vastly different from other Ki Blasts. Ki Disks compress the ki into a thin layer, with Ki acting as blades to make a buzz saw, such as "Destructo Disk". Similarly to Ki Disks, a Ki Blade or Ki Scythe is made of compressed Ki, but in the shape of a bladed weapon, such as "Sickle of Sorrow". Only the Super Saiyan Rosé form can utilize a Ki Scythe.

    Special attacks involving expert ki manipulation and advanced knowledge. "Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack" starts with spitting out ectoplasm doppelgangers made of ki, possessing its own semi-consciousness, and can move on its own in obedience to fight for the user. Those ki doppelgangers can also be ordered to explode upon contact, just like a Ki Bomb. Similar to "Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack", "Arachni-Seal" summons a very large spider composed of ki that takes orders from users. "Storm Release", summons a storm that utilizes ki to control blizzard and lightning.

    Similar to when a Ki Beam Wave or Ki Bomb contacts something, or the user sets off the blast, ki is released as an exponentially volatile, and immeasurably destructive explosion or world-changing effect from Planet Destroyers, such as "Spirit Bomb", or "Frigid Heavenly Storm". While much more time and ki is required to charge these attacks, these Planet Destroyers are so much more destructive that they risk destroying or forever scarring a planet on a massive scale, and any opponents.
