Backstory:

• Infancy: Toru often stayed in daycare when he was a child because his parents spent all day working outside the home. One thing that bothered him was that other children (especially girls) they made fun of him for liking "manly stuff", one of the girls who bullied him daily was Kaori, the same girl who keeps sending him anonymous messages.
• Preadolescence/adolescence: During high school, Toru was more focused on studying to attend college, and his focus was also more personal. He began to question his gender identity more frequently and then began to identify as a trans man and began hormonal transition, applying testosterone. His parents were very confused at first, especially his mother who had more difficulty accepting her son's gender identity.
