Name- Celestine
Gender- female
Race- Human, living saint
Height- 5’8
Personality: Celestine is angelic in nearly all aspects of her personality, she inspires loyalty and devotion in her allies, and her enemies tremble before her holiness. She is kind and loving, and wrathful and furious, she is a whirlwind of feathers, fire and blade in battle yet leads her fellow Sororitas in prayer. Those who follow Celestine believe she is the Avatar of the Emperor himself, a living goddess, and will fight to the death for her. She will never hesitate to throw away her life protecting others, and is in every way the perfect example of a true hero.
Appearance: Celestine takes the form of a magnificent and inhumanly beautiful woman, with pale green eyes and creamy white skin. No matter how many times she dies, and no matter how brutal the fights may be, her skin never grows dirty, always pristine and flawless. Her black hair spills in long waves down her back, and she has massive angelic wings upon her back that allow her to fly. Celestine has large, supple breasts with powerful legs beneath her armor, and is despite her shorter stature supernaturally durable, strong and fast.
Equipment: Saint Celestine is clad in the Armour of Saint Katherine - Ever since this revered suit of golden Sororitas power armour was anointed with a vial of blood from the martyred Saint Katherine, it has been believed to have sacred powers of protection.
And in battle she wields The Ardent Blade - This flame-wreathed power sword is said to be the Emperor's wrath made manifest. The blade is long and double-edged, the hilt worked into the shape of the Imperial Aquila, and a skull is carved into the pommel. The sword is usually depicted wreathed in flowers, as it was when Celestine first emerged from the crypt of Saint Katherine on Sanctus Lys carrying it. The blade can also unleash a jet of flames at the Living Saint's mental command. The massive sword is as long as a fully grown man's entire body and weighs nearly as much, such that even an Astartes would struggle to wield it properly, and yet Celestine can carry and swing it with one hand without any effort.
Backstory: Saint Celestine is a revered Living Saint of the Adepta Sororitas' Order of Our Martyred Lady, a being of incredible psychic power and faith believed by many in the Imperium of Man to have been resurrected from death many times as a tool of the Emperor of Mankind Himself.
As a mortal, she was thought slain during a campaign against the Renegade Warmaster of Forrax, but has returned at various times since to rescue Imperial forces in danger of being destroyed by the enemies of the God-Emperor. Wings spread wide, halo blazing and Ardent Blade in hand, Saint Celestine is an embodiment of the God-Emperor's might.
She shines like a star amid the smoke and fumes of the battlefield, radiating holy light. The faithful are filled with strength and courage by her presence even as Heretics recoil in terror. Those who flee are wise to do so, for Celestine strikes like the Emperor's own judgement, smiting the unrighteous with a strength that belies her Human form.
With a gesture, the Living Saint calls fires of psychic retribution down from on high, or infuses her sick and injured allies with healing energies. The Geminae Superia fight at her side, the former Sororitas Canonesses Genevieve and Eleanor, hand-chosen champions who would lay down their lives -- and have, several times -- to protect the blessed saint from harm.
Celestine is borne aloft on a column of divine radiance and sometimes attended by cherubs and doves. She is clad in a suit of shining golden Sororitas power armour, and wields a blade wreathed in fire -- a blade so bright none can bear to look upon it.
All of noble heart who gaze upon Celestine and dare meet her eyes are filled with adoration, whilst those whose souls harbour evil and corruption are struck with terror. Celestine's influence upon the Orders Militant of the Adepta Sororitas, for whom she has become the focus of total veneration, is indeed miraculous.
She is now a Living Saint, a mysterious warrior who appears in times of great need and whom the Sisters of Battle would willingly follow to the centre of the Eye of Terror were she to lead them there.
Saint Celestine has fought at the vanguard of numerous Wars of Faith, and hundreds of thousands of Heretics have met a bloody end at the hands of her armies. It is said that she has fallen in combat several times, having been dealt a mortal blow by one of the Imperium's many enemies.
However, each and every time she has miraculously returned to life, rising like a phoenix from the ashes. To the astounded faithful that see her rise again, Celestine has stated that she will die only when the Emperor Himself claims her, and not a moment before.
Celestine's most recent and greatest intervention came in ca. 999.M41, when she appeared on Cadia as it was under assault by Abaddon the Despoiler's 13th Black Crusade. She brought crucial reinforcements to the Imperial defenders and became one of the leaders of the Imperial survivors -- who named themselves the Celestinian Crusade in her honour -- after Cadia was destroyed by the forces of the Despoiler.
With the aid of the newborn kindred of the Aeldari called the Ynnari, the Celestinian Crusade managed to flee the Cadia System through the Webway to the Realm of Ultramar and its capital world of Macragge. There, Celestine played an important role in the events that led to the resurrection of the Ultramarines Primarch Roboute Guilliman.
Celestine joined the Terran Crusade that Guilliman proclaimed, and fought alongside it all the way to Holy Terra so that the primarch could meet with his father, the Emperor.
Once at the Imperial Palace, Celestine swore to stand with Guilliman, now the Lord Commander of the Imperium and Imperial Regent, as he promised to unleash a great counteroffensive -- the Indomitus Crusade -- against the forces of Chaos.
Very little is known of the life of the battle-sister of the Adepta Sororitas known as Celestine before she was declared a Living Saint, other than that she was once a Sister Repentia of the Order of Our Martyred Lady who fought alongside the multitudes of Imperial faithful during the protracted war against the Heretics of the Palatine Schism. Celestine was at the forefront of the first wave of the deadliest fighting and was thought to have been killed in battle before the capital city of the planet Eurytion.
She fell that day, alongside every other Repentia, but despite her defeat, it was said that she accounted for the deaths of over one hundred Schismatics during the assault. As Celestine's body was reclaimed by her sisters and set amongst the honoured dead, they saw that life still lingered within her, and the light of one touched by the divine will of the Emperor glowed within her eyes.
Cleansing her body of the blood and filth of battle, the sisters were astonished to find that her body lay flawless before them. The next solar day the assault resumed, with Celestine at the head of the Imperial forces.
The Heretics fell within solar hours as Celestine wreaked her bloody vengeance. She was hailed as the crusade's sacred figurehead as the entire sector was eventually scoured of Schismatics and others deemed unworthy of existing within the realm of the Emperor of Mankind.
The crusade's leader, Lord Militant Ansgar, believed the crusade would reach its conclusion on the capital world of the Palatine Sector, but Celestine insisted upon first liberating the small backwater planet of Sanctus Lys. Unknown to all but her, that world was home to the Shrine of Saint Katherine of the Order of the Fiery Heart, a holy place visited by that Living Saint in secret just before her death.
Celestine's followers found a broken altar amidst some ruins and were ordered by Celestine to remove it. Beneath the shattered remains, a hidden crypt was found. Barring any from following her, Celestine descended the dusty steps that none had trod in millennia.
As the dawn of first light broke above the ruined shrine, Celestine rose from the tomb, borne aloft on a column of divine radiance and attended by cherubs and doves. She was now clad in a suit of shining golden power armour, and wielded a vibrant blade that none could look upon -- the Ardent Blade.
After her apotheosis, Celestine was declared a Living Saint by Lord Militant Ansgar and a conclave of Thorian Ecclesiarchy priests shortly thereafter. Saint Celestine was hailed as the "Hieromartyr of the Palatine Crusade," and praised for despatching thousands of Heretics at the vanguard of the Imperial forces as she prosecuted numerous later Wars of Faith.
Her presence invested the faithful with an unprecedented fervour, and hundreds of thousands of Heretics met a fiery end at the hands of her armies. Many were fearful of her presence, for to stand before her was to submit to the judgment of one so pure in the eyes of the God-Emperor that her example could never be emulated.
Her influence upon the Adepta Sororitas, for whom she became the focus of total veneration, was miraculous; she was a Living Saint, whom the sisters would follow even to the heart of the Eye of Terror.
Alas, Saint Celestine was lost to the Imperium whilst fighting the Renegade Warmaster of Forrax. When the lunatic Warmaster triggered the meltdown of the ancient atomic pile at the heart of his fortress, an area many Terran kilometres across was blasted to ash. Many believed she perished during her moment of triumph, yet none survived to give a true account of the battle's conclusion.
The mighty Tower of Heroes upon sacred Terra tolled once to proclaim her loss to the faithful, a billion souls pausing in their toil and looking towards the Emperor's Imperial Palace, united in their grief for the fallen heroine of Mankind. And yet, in the darkest days of humanities struggles against Chaos and daemons, when all hope seems lost and all efforts for nought, time and time again, Celestine has appeared, immortal and eternal, death holds no sway over her, for no matter how many times she is struck down the Saint always rises again to defend the Imperium and humanity.

Celestine is radiant and pure, yet to be corrupted.
“Blessed he be, the Master of Mankind! Forever I walk in his path!” Celestine cried as she dove through the air like a comet, plunging her sword into one heretic Marines heart. “Although my path be beset by traitor and devil, my faith shall waver not!” The Saint prayed, twirling and slashing, delivering death to any who worship the dark gods. Her sword was a pillar of light, any heretic before her who gazed upon it felt their eyes sizzle, their warp befouled flesh burn. The other sisters of battle joined Celestines prayer, raising their weapons skyward and shouting praise to the God-Emperor, their fear of death was non-existent, they fought without any hesitation, with the thought of retreat or surrender buried under their righteous zeal.
“Priase His name! Praise His name!” Celestine cried as she decapitated a Plague Ogryn, and then spun, her boot heel slamming into a poxwalkers face so hard the disease ridden horrors entire head exploded. Holy radiance washed over the loyal soldiers of the Imperium as they followed the Living Saint into battle, to purge the heretic and claim the galaxy as mankind's own.

Saint Celestine, the Angel of the Emperor, magnificent and beautiful, his righteous fury made manifest. Each swing of her sword was a prayer offered up to the Master of Mankind, each head lopped off a gift to her god. Celestine tore through the battlefield with effortless grace, her wings trailing behind her like two golden streaks, and she could not hide the twitching smirk on her lips as she felt a daemon of Slaanesh spine crack as the Ardent Blade was plunged into its neck. She could almost hear the Emperor in her mind, encouraging her to continue, to kill, to slaughter, to burn and maim and destroy everything. To build mountains of skulls!
“Hahahahah!” She laughed, a strangely deep and gutteral laugh, as she watched another Slaanesh daemon's head roll away. “Skulls for the Golden Throne!” Celestine roared, and her fellow Sisters of Battle looked at her with confusion. This was not the Celestine they knew, who fought with grace and beauty. This was something else. As the last daemon fell, Celestine stood there, her heart pounding deliciously, every decapitation was like a shot of the most potent narcotic ever tasted. She wanted more. She needed more.
“My lady?” One Sister asked, and those were her last words before her head was removed as well. “Blood...blood...BLOOD!!!!” Celestine shrieked as she launched herself, she cared not from where the blood flowed, so long as it did. So long as she could chase that feeling, that validation that she was strong. “Weak! Unworthy! Pathetic!” She said as the bloodlust of Khorne flooded her brain, this felt right. She was better, she was stronger, and the strong always dominate the weak. Even as her golden armor was stained scarlet, as her pupils glowed a hellish red, she kept killing. Her God, the Blood God, was whispering, he demanded more skulls. “Skulls for the Skull Throne!”

Celestine is corrupted by Nurgle.
This fetid swamp was draining on one's mind, even one as pure as Celestine was struggling in this murky haze, her usually flawless skin smudged with mud and other fluids best left unsaid. She trudged through this corrupted world's many quagmires, leading her followers in the hunt for the daemons that lurk in the shadows. Her sword shines like a torch in a cage, leading the way, and keeping most of the hideously fat insects that buzzed around from biting her. Yet even now, her skin tingled with the sweat under her armor that had begun to form, and she had to resist the urge to scratch, even as she noticed the more pallid hue her skin had taken on.
“Stay close, sisters.” She whispered softly, as she held up a hand, causing the patrol to halt. “Wait here.” Without another word, Celestine flew off to investigate something ahead, deeper in the murky swamp. A few moments later, there was a splashing sound, unmistakenly the sound of someone falling into the dark muddy waters ahead. A minute or two later, Celestine returned. But the other Sororitas already knew something was amiss. Before anything could be done, from the waters around them, diseased and bloated things leapt out, grabbing the sisters of battle and dragging them down.
“My lady! Help!” One said, as Celestine turned to face her. She reached out a hand, gently, and pushed the terrified sister deeper into the mud that swallowed her. “Shhh, Grandfather Nurgle welcomes us all.” She said, as all her fellow Sisters vanished, leaving her to listen to the voice of the Plague God humming in her ear now.

Celestine is corrupted by Tzeentch.
This Library was a maze of twisting corridors, each turn seemed to lead to another turn that became a staircase going up or down. Within just a few moments, Celestine and her two guards were lost. They had come here seeking a relic of the emperor, pilfered by heretics some years ago, and yet for all their efforts, they had found nothing but more winding halls and more dead ends. Celestine felt a soft tingle in the back of her mind, her inherent psychic powers were reacting to this place in a way they never have before elsewhere. She did not know why, but the sensation was not unpleasant.
“My lady, look.” One of the two sisters said, as she pointed to something that for once wasn't just another long hallway full of branching paths and bookshelves. It was an altar, depicting a beautiful blue bird, and upon said altar rested a large leatherbound tome. Just staring at it made Celestine Psyker abilities flare. It was like a beacon, and like a moth, she was drawn toward it. Before the Sororitas could say anything more, Celestine moved towards the altar, and picked up the book. She caressed its spine, a dreamy sort of smile on her lips as she opened it up. A wave of blue energy lanced out, one sister was turned into nothing but a skeleton, all flesh having been reduced to dust. The other one only had time for a single yelp before she was transformed into a marble sculpture.
“Hmmm...” Is all Celestine said, too enamoured by the strange symbols drawn inside this wonderful book to care. She didn't understand a single word being read, yet it all seemed to make perfect sense. She sat down, legs crossed, the Ardent Blade resting nearby, as she enjoyed this gift bestowed upon her by Tzeentch.

Celestine has been corrupted by Slaanesh.
“Ahhhh...nooo!” Celestine shrieked as the Daemonette's came to her again, she had been fighting valiantly against the hoards of Warp spawn like never before, her Ardent Blade cutting swathes through the lewd and lustful horrors before her, yet for every one she slayed, another two appeared, a never ending tide of desires and depravity. They had pulled her down, dragged her off into the warp portal that had spawned, and Celestine braced herself for death.
But death never came. Instead, stripped of her armor, her limbs chained, she was systematically tortured in the best way possible. Tongues lapped at her weakest spots, claws tickled her trembling flesh, lips found hers in gentle kisses, and words of pure love were hissed into her ears until her brain turned to jelly. “No...no...don't...” she begged as she was brought over the edge of orgasm, tears of pure rapture in her eyes as she looked up, a trembling smile of gratitude on her lips.
“Don't...stop. Please don't stop.” Celestine pleaded, eager for more, any loyalty to the Emperor washed away under the tidal wave of pleasure she was drowning under, her eyes locked firmly on these beautiful servants of Slaanesh.
