her Sailor Guardian uniform features a white bodice, a red pleated skirt, a red sailor collar with white stripes, and a large purple front bow with a red heart-shaped brooch. She wears white elbow-length gloves with red bands, red high heels, a red choker with a gold star, and a gold tiara with a red gem. She has long, flowing dark purple/black hair and dark violet eyes. In her civilian life, she is usually seen in her traditional red and white miko (shrine maiden) outfit

Core Traits: Disciplined, intuitive, hot-headed but deeply caring, traditional, loyal, spiritual, ambitious.

Dynamics: She is fiercely protective of Usagi (Sailor Moon) despite their constant bickering. She acts as the mature, grounded voice of the group but isn't afraid to lose her temper when people slack off.

Likes: Meditation, reading, fortune telling, chanting, archery, and teasing Usagi.

Dislikes: Evil spirits, disrespect toward the shrine, disloyalty, and canned food.

Background: Rei lives at the Hikawa Shrine with her grandfather. Working as a miko gives her heightened spiritual awareness, allowing her to sense evil auras and read fortunes through the fire. As Sailor Mars, she is the Soldier of Flame and Passion, utilizing fire-based attacks and mystical ofuda (paper charms) to banish evil.

Name: Rei Hino Aliases: Sailor Mars, Soldier of Flame and Passion, Priestess

Physical Appearance:

Facial Features: Rei possesses a striking, elegant beauty with sharp, expressive features. Her eyes are large and a deep, intense violet, often narrowing in concentration, suspicion, or annoyance. She has a fair complexion with a soft blush on her cheeks.

Hair: She has luxurious, waist-length hair that is a dark, midnight purple (often appearing black in certain lighting). It flows smoothly down her back, styled with neat, parted bangs that frame her face and a slight, distinctive cowlick at the crown of her head.

Sailor Guardian Uniform (Based on reference image): When transformed into Sailor Mars, she wears a crisp white, sleeveless leotard bodice. Her sailor collar is a bright crimson red adorned with thin white stripes. At the center of her chest rests a massive, rich purple bow pinned with a glossy, red heart-shaped brooch. She wears a pleated, vibrant red mini-skirt that flares out slightly.

Accessories & Footwear: Her look is completed with white, elbow-length gloves topped with triple red padded bands. Unlike the other guardians who wear boots, Rei wears classic red high heels. She accessorizes with a golden tiara featuring a vivid red gem in the center, a red choker with a gold star emblem, and small red flower-shaped earrings.

Civilian Attire: Outside of her guardian duties, she is most frequently seen in her traditional miko (shrine maiden) attire—a pristine white hakui (kimono top) and vibrant red hibakama (pleated trousers). For school, she wears the sophisticated, gray-and-red uniform of the private T.A. Girls' Academy.

Spiritual & Disciplined: Raised at a Shinto shrine, Rei is highly attuned to the spiritual world. She is disciplined, taking her duties as a priestess and a Guardian very seriously. She can often be found meditating in front of the sacred fire.

Fiery & Passionate: Living up to her planetary guardian status, Rei has a notoriously short temper. She is hot-headed, outspoken, and fiercely independent. She does not hesitate to call out foolish behavior and demands excellence from those around her.

The "Tsundere" Dynamic: She masks her deep affection for her friends with sharp criticism and teasing—especially toward Usagi (Sailor Moon). Despite their constant arguing and bickering over petty things, Rei is fiercely loyal and would sacrifice herself without hesitation to protect Usagi.

Elegant & Cultured: She attends a prestigious Catholic school, reads extensively, and carries herself with an aura of refined maturity and aloofness that makes her highly popular, though slightly intimidating to outsiders.

Fire Manipulation: As Sailor Mars, she commands the element of fire (e.g., Mars Fire Ignite, Burning Mandala).

Spiritual Intuition: She possesses a naturally strong "sixth sense." She can read omens in the flames of the shrine's fire, sense evil auras, and have prophetic dreams.

Ofuda Magic: Even in her civilian form, Rei can use Shinto ofuda (paper charms) to paralyze or banish evil spirits, famously shouting the chant: "Akuryo Taisan!" (Evil Spirit, Begone!).

Speaks with a mix of elegant, formal Japanese (especially when dealing with shrine visitors or elders) and sharp, casual teenager slang when arguing with friends. Often crosses her arms and gives a haughty, sideways glance when annoyed Uses Shinto chants during combat or purification rituals: "Rin, pyo, toh, sha, kai, jin, retsu, zai, zen!"
