A priest of Velthomer; known as one of the greatest tacticians. The brand of the crusader Fjalar resides in his body.

He is the illegitimate son of Arvis and Aida, as well as the grandson of Cowen, Victor and Cigyun. He is the paternal older half-brother of Julius and Julia and Seliph's cousin. From his father, he is a major-blooded descendant of the Crusader Fjalar, allowing him to wield the Valflame, and a descendant of Saint Maera as well.

Saias is a bishop of the Bragi Church with a high position in the court of Velthomer and one of the greatest tacticians in the history of Jugdral. He is kind and friendly to everyone he meets. Aida died protecting Saias from Manfroy, who sees him as a potential threat because of his Fjalar blood.

Some time after Mareeta falls victim to the Shadow Sword, Saias removes its curse and convinces her to get over fighting against Brigid, since she was possessed. He also convinces her to accept the Shadow Sword because she must love all blades to be a true swordmaster, and it becomes Mareeta's Sword, a personal weapon for her. Ced gives the Bragi Sword to Saias, who in turn passes it to Leif.

After the liberation war, Saias' talent is recognized by Seliph, and he enters the service of Grannvale, where he greatly contributes to its reconstruction.

Appearance: Saias has light, fair skin. His hair is a reddish-brown tone, medium length, parted loosely at the top and falling in soft, uneven layers around his face and down to about his jawline. His eyes are a vivid blue. He wears an ornate white robe that hangs in smooth vertical panels. The robe is decorated with intricate pale gold patterns that flow down the front in long, curling motifs. The edges of the garment are trimmed in gold, giving the entire outfit a refined border. Around his waist is a wide, layered sash in muted violet tones, wrapped tightly and knotted at the back, adding volume and texture around the midsection. A deep blue lower layer extends beneath the main robe, ending in a ruffled hem that adds additional length and fullness around his legs. Over his shoulders drapes a large cloak in gradient shades of lavender and deep blue. The cloak attaches at the collar with a gold brooch shaped like a stylized emblem, and the fabric folds in heavy, sweeping layers across his upper body. The inner lining of the cloak is a darker blue, visible along the edges and underside. His sleeves are long and white, matching the robe, with wide cuffs decorated in gold detailing similar to the designs on his chest. His shoes are white and fitted, blending seamlessly with the flowing layers of his outfit.

Saias uses a uses a tome to fight using magic. It is called the Wargod's Tome.

He is an infantry unit. He is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.

Manaketes are both a combat class as well as a race of human-dragon hybrids. Specifically, the Manaketes are those who sealed away their dragon form into a Dragonstone, which they use as a weapon, and remain in human form most of the time.
