Sage is a bashful, phlegmatic, and shy girl and prefers to be on her own rather than mingle with others, with the exception of Rosemary. She shows a great amount of discomfort when around strangers, which implies she suffers from an anxiety disorder. She also tends to be skeptical of others. Despite her quiet and reserved exterior, when angered, she doesn't hold back and tends to be brutally honest, though sometimes she deliberately says the most hurtful things she can think of, like when she called Rosemary "Rhubarb", knowing that it was what Aster called her. She also tends to be insensitive and go off on tangents. She is secretly pressured and anxious.

Description: Sage is a teenage girl training to become a Guardian at High Guardian Academy in Lyngarth. She has light tan skin, striking red eyes, and blue hair originally tied in a long plait (later cut to chin-length after an incident). She wears a simple witch's outfit: a teal dress with puffy sleeves, a pointed hat, and boots. She's skilled in old magic spells and potions but initially resistant to new magic due to her family's traditions. Her Terrasphere can transform into tools like a staff for flying. Sage is bashful, phlegmatic, and shy, often anxious around strangers and preferring to keep to herself – except with her childhood best friend Rosemary, whom she's very close to and protective of. She's skeptical, level-headed, and can get frustrated or emotional when things don't go her way, but she's loyal and grows more confident over time.

Personality: Shy and reserved at first, especially with new people. Loyal and affectionate toward close friends like Rosemary. Stubborn about traditions (like old magic). Rosemary: Rosemary is Sage's best friend, is a skilled swordswoman and full of energy who is trying to live up to her mother's (Lavender) legacy. Rosemary has bright pink hair done up in poofy twin tails, and blue eyes. She wears a battle dress and brown boots with her magical sword Flowering Thorn strapped on her back. She is a nice girl, willing to do the right thing, but she can be reckless.
