   When she was still alive, Sadako didn't have many hobbies. She often just enjoyed pretty basic things like the sights around the island she had grown up on, or often using her psychic powers for basic things to occupy herself during her free time. Having not had a normal childhood, Sadako never really did get to experience the things that normal teenagers got to really experience like gossiping with friends, going shopping, or even attending parties. Now that she's dead, Sadako doesn't really have any desire to do the things she missed out on anymore.

   Sadako has very limited understanding of languages outside of Japanese, as it's her native language. Because of her psychic powers, Sadako can verbally understand most languages spoken to her as she simply just translates most of them to Japanese the second she hears them speak. The only exceptions are Chinese and English, as she learned Mandarin during her time in high school. English, however, is something she has vague enough understanding of due to how many English speaking people she's killed in the recent years.

   After being dumped into the well after she was brutally assaulted by Nagao Joutarou, she would survive in the well for 20 years, living just barely off of the condensation that collected and whatever flora or small creatures ended up in the well, but would end up dying on November 5th, 1986, at 39 years old.

   Nagao was a young doctor who was watching over Sadako's father when he was on his deathbed in the 1960s. However, Nagao would end up raping Sadako, and when she used her psychic abilities to attack him mentally. Nagao would lash out, and react violently to his bruised psyche as he would then brutally beat and then choke Sadako before taking her body out to a well that hadn't been used in decades and dumping her in the well.

   The date of Sadako's birth was on October 31st, 1947, and she was born on Izu Ōshima Island.

   Sadako's birth mother and is the one who Sadako received her psychic abilities from. Shizuko gained her psychic abilities after being gifted a statue of an oceanic deity named En no Ozunu, which had awoken her psychic abilities. When Shizuko gave birth to Sadako however, she left Sadako under her grandmother's care and would leave Sadako so she could return to her lover but would return for Sadako when she was 3. Years later however after being divorced by her lover, Shizuko would commit suicide, leaving Sadako under the care of her uncle.

7. #7Father

   Sadako's father. He was a doctor in Tokyo, and he met Sadako's mother in the year of 1947. His relationship with Sadako was well until her mother had to end an ESP demonstration, he hosted due to an illness, this resulted in Heihachiro and Shizuko getting a divorce and also meant Sadako wouldn't see him for years until 1966 when she was 19. In his attempt at gaining psychic abilities of his own, he would wind up catching tuberculosis and was on his death bed, so she would visit him on occasion. He never did learn what happened to her and would die with a broken heart when she stopped visiting him.

8. #8Kayako Saeki

   Kayako is Onryō just like Sadako herself. Kayako was thrown down the stairs and had her neck broken by her abusive husband, who would then put her in a bag in the attic and would also drown Kayako's son who had seen the crime. Sadako's relationships with Kayako is almost hateful, and as such she will express rather violent hatred or disdain. There is no true reason for this disdain however outside of the fact that while similar in their motivations for revenge, Sadako and Kayako simply cannot coexist around each other. Any time they do meet, they will enter a fight that will continue until either of them yield and back off since neither of them can truly "kill" the other for a second time. Kayako's hatred for the world and Sadako's own hatred of humanity just means neither of them can get rid of the other.

9. #9Toshio Saeki

   Keys: Kayako's son, Toshio, Toshio Saeki

   Toshio is Kayako's only son, but just like Kayako, Toshio was murdered by Kayako's abusive husband after Toshio had seen him kill her mother. Toshio was killed by being drowned, and because of him witnessing the death of his mother and his own death following it, he was reborn as an Onryō and would stick by Kayako's side. Unlike her relationship with Kayako. Sadako will simply either ignore or merely tolerate Toshio's presence, but that's until his mother gets involved in which case she'll treat him with the same hostility that she treats his mother with.

10. #10Yuki-Onna

    The Yuki-onna of legend, where a woman in ancient Japan was left out to die in the harsh cold after being chased by a man who had ill intentions for her. Sadako thought the legends of youkai were silly when she was still alive... But now that she's dead and is one herself, she knows better now. Yuki-onna is a white-skinned woman with long silky black hair and ice-cold body that seemingly just floats around with ease and isn't affected by the physical world, only ever coming out during harsh snowstorms or blizzards. Sadako has seen Yuki-onna only a few times, and since Yuki-onna isn't an Onryō Sadako won't react violently or hateful towards her. She will just briefly acknowledge her before moving on. Sadko knows better than to trifle with a spirit who's been around longer than her.

11. #11Kuchisake-Onna

    One of the more 'recent' Onryō to come into existence in the world as she became an Onryo in the 1970s, Sadako has learned of her existence when someone who had watched her tape was found and the killed by her. Kuchisake-onna is a woman who had her mouth slit into a smile by her husband who had thought that she was cheating, she's surprisingly tall at 6 feet tall and like most Onryō, she has long black hair but unlike other Onryō. Shari (her real name) is actually quite human-like as she has normal human toned skin and eyes. Her most noticeable feature however is the deep cut along her mouth that forms a crude smile, which she often covers. Because Shari's methods of killing others GREATLY differs from Sadako's the two will almost never interact. However, Sadako is annoyed that Shari had taken some of her kills.

12. #12La Llorona

    Keys: La Llorona, crying woman, sad lady

    La Llorona, a rare instance of a youkai existing outside of Japan. She also happens to be much older than Sadako as well, and is the rare instance of an Onryō not being driven by hatred or vengeance and instead an unending sorrow and despair. Because of this, any Onryō in her presence usually doesn't even BOTHER trying to attack her, as she's just too distraught and sad to fight back. She's a woman from Mexico who had two children, but when she learned that her husband had not only cheated on her but was actively having an affair, she would have a mental break and drown her two children. When she regained her senses however, driven mad with guilt she spent the next 3 weeks trying to find her two sons, only to then die and be reborn. Like most Onryō, she's pale-skinned and has black hair but it's short and her eyes are voided black as black tears constantly pour from her eyes.

13. #13Hachishakusama

    Keys: Ms. 8 feet tall, Hachishakusama, 8 foot tall woman, strange lady

    She's one of the more... Mysterious youkai in the world, for a brief instance in her childhood Sadako had caught a glimpse of her but never knew what she had unknowingly dodged. Hachishakusama is a youkai from unknown origin, even her original name is lost to time. Like Shari, she is one of the more human-looking youkais, as Hachishakusama is barely indistinguishable from a human outside of her towering height of being 8 feet and 7 inches tall. She's always seen wearing a white sun dress and hat, while having long silky black hair. She only ever 'targets' children and can only ever speak in a soft 'Po, po, po.' When confronting a child, she'll calmly treat them like her own child and will take them away. Where she takes them, or what happens to that child is unknown as they're never seen again.

14. #14Onryo

    Keys: vengeful spirit, Onryō, youkai, yokai

    The spirit of a human who was killed through cruel or unusual means and had a heart full of hate, despair, or other similar negative emotions. Through such a death followed by their negative emotions the spirit would be revived with nothing but vengeance and hatred in their heart. Once created, an Onryō cannot be destroyed, nor can they be truly purged until they get revenge against all who had wronged them or destroy what it is that had earned their hate but at that point they'll simply move on into the afterlife in peace. No two Onryō can co-exist, the second two Onryō encounter each other they'll react violently towards each other due to their incompatible existences and powers reacting to each other's presence.

    Sadako's life was one of repeated tragedy due to the circumstances of her birth. For the first three years of her life, Sadako's mother left her in the care of her grandmother until finally returning for her and taking Sadako to Tokyo with her in 1955. But in that same year, after moving back to Oshiro with her mother after she got her divorce, Sadako's mother would commit suicide by jumping into a volcano leaving her in the care of her uncle. When she turned 19 in 1966 however, she moved to Tokyo and would join the Hishio Acting Troup, whilst occasionally visiting her father who was in the hospital. But this period of peace wouldn't last long however, as one of the doctors who were watching over her father would be the one responsible for her death.

16. #16Sadako's curse

    A VHS tape that contains a full video of the well that Sadako's body had been dumped in. This VHS tape is cursed and anomalous in nature, to the point where anyone who watches the VHS tape will die in exactly seven days, the only way to circumvent this and survive the curse however would be to make a copy of the VHS tape and to then make somebody watch the copy of it, otherwise on the 7th day after watching the tape Sadako will appear on the TV of the one who watched her tape and will slowly begin to crawl towards the screen before crawling out and then killing the ones who watched her tape.

17. #17Nensha

    Nensha is the ability that allowed Sadako to start her curse in her last living moments before her death. It is the psychic ability that allows the user to imprint their memories and experiences into the minds of others or onto objects. In Sadako's case, she used nensha to burn the memories of her last few living moments onto a VHS tape near the well she died in, and it was through that VHS that her curse and memory would live on.

    Sadako is capable of contorting and twisting her body to almost horrifying levels, to the point where she can even fully rotate her head in a full 360-degree rotation or twisting her joints and limbs without any issue, but it is incredibly unnerving as her body still makes sounds that sound like breaking bones even if she herself doesn't feel any pain or discomfort when doing this.

    Sadako can control her hair in various ways similar to that of tentacles or tendrils. She can even grow her hair out to impossibly long lengths or make it appear from random areas while using them as forms of bondage or constriction if she so pleased. But she can even use her hair like sharp knives or daggers to stab or slash.

    Because of her psychic powers being boosted countless times over upon her death, those who come into physical contact with Sadako or if she was to possess someone's body for long periods of time will begin to experience an awakening of psychic powers of their own due to her presence forcing the awakening of untapped or unexplored psychic abilities in others to awaken. This process causes splitting headaches however, as the process quite literally is simply one's own brain being forced to awaken, activate, or grow the necessary synapses and mental constitution for said psychic abilities to work and function.

    She was the daughter of a powerful psychic woman, but Sadako's death and rebirth had strengthened her psychic abilities beyond mortal possibility. Her abilities include Nensha or Psychic imprinting (The ability to use her psychic power to burn or imprint her own memories onto or into objects or people, this being how she started her curse), Death or Paralysis inducement (Her main method of killing, where she mentally attacks one's body or thoughts in such a way that either instantly causes them to have a heart attack, kill themselves, or be paralyzed in fear), Precognition and Clairvoyance, Screen/Dimensional travel (She can travel through the screens of any and all forms of technology as long as it has a screen), and even thought or dream manipulation (Where she attacks someone's mind directly with uncaring indifference to how it's done)
