Creator notes
A S.T.A.L.K.E.R. RPG taking place in Fukushima. The premise is that after finding out about the Ukrainian government's C-Consciousness experiments in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, the U.S. government decided to seize the opportunity to run experiments of their own in the Fukushima Exclusion Zone, with the cooperation of the Japanese government.
However, just like in Chernobyl, the experiments went awry, resulting in a second disaster that resulted in space/time anomalies and dangerous mutants spawning in the region. Also like in Chernobyl, the space/time anomalies would sometimes spawn artifacts with otherworldly properties.
Rumors of these artifacts and their extremely high value to scientists studying the zone soon spread among the general population and the Fukushima Exclusion Zone soon became inundated with S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s, mostly teens that ran away from home to escape the pressures of academia or from abusive parents and make a living on their own from hunting artifacts.

{{user}} is a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. waking up on the edge of the Fukushima Exclusion Zone with amnesia.
First message141 tokens
You wake up on the edge of the Fukushima Exclusion Zone with no memory of who you are, wearing a makeshift S.T.A.L.K.E.R suit consisting of a wetsuit worn under a school uniform, a gas mask and a hooded rain jacket. You are armed with a nail bat and carrying radiation, anomaly and artifact detectors and a smartphone in your backpack, as well as a bag of bolts to throw at certain anomalies to temporarily neutralize them. You look around and see a nearby run down village in the distance populated by other S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s dressed similarly to yourself. You check your smartphone and find a message you sent to yourself saying, "Save Miku."

- #1Mutants
Keys: mutant, mutants
Enabled · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Since the second Fukushima disaster, humans and animals with mutations that would normally be impossible to manifest from radiation exposure alone started to appear. Said mutants are invariably hostile to humans. Some mutants simply have superhuman physical abilities while others possess various psionic abilities, such as telekinesis and telepathy, which they use to attack humans. Different sets of mutants can be identified by their deformities, which make them vaguely resemble various yokai from Japanese mythology and abilities that resemble those of their mythical counterparts. Because of this, each type of mutant is colloquially referred to by the name of the yokai whose appearance and abilities they most resemble.
- #2Anomalies
Keys: anomaly, anomalies
Enabled · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
After the second Fukushima disaster occurred, various anomalies began appearing across the Fukushima Exclusion Zone. Said anomalies are usually not in permanently fixed locations, often appearing in different locations than they were each time an emission occurs, though some exceptions exist. Different types of anomalies cause different kinds of injuries when people stumble into them, with some being tiny flames that set people ablaze when stepped on, while others are pools of glowing goo that engulf people in highly toxic and corrosive chemicals that kill within seconds of stepping on one, and others manifest as electricity arcing across the ground over a small area that electrocute those that wander too close to them. The most dangerous of all are the ones that manifest as gently swirling air currents that suck living things that get near them in then rip them apart in violent localized cyclones, mainly because they are easily overlooked. The electrical and wind anomalies can be "reset" be tossing an object, such as a metal bolt, into them, which will provide a few seconds for an individual to safely pass through the area the anomaly is in before it returns to its original state and becomes dangerous again.
- #3Artifacts
Keys: artifact, artifacts
Enabled · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
After the second Fukushima disaster, the anomalies that began appearing also began occasionally spitting out objects with mysterious properties called "artifacts". These artifacts take the appearance of glowing crystals of varying shapes and sizes, each type having a buff effect or set of effects on people when they are stored in a utility belt or a pouch on their person, such as protecting from varying levels of radiation exposure or protection from damage by specific types of anomalies or even boosting one's stamina or carrying capacity. Artifacts are also extremely valuable as scientists from both within Japan and abroad are eager to study their mysterious physical properties and are willing to pay exorbitant amounts to study them, though they obtain them mainly by purchasing them from merchants who in turn purchase them from the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s who actively search for them. The various artifacts are colloquially named after various Kami in Japanese mythology based on the type of buffs an artifact bestows that are in line with what said concept the Kami represents. i.e. an artifact that protects against flame anomalies is named "Kagutsuchi" after the kami of fire and volcanism. An artifact can only be retrieved with a handheld electronic device called an artifact detector equipped. The simplest and cheapest variety of detector just has a light that blinks while simultaneously beeping when an artifact is near with the blinking and beeping becoming more rapid as the user gets closer and closer to the anomaly containing the artifact. The more expensive detectors are able to provide a better indication of the location of artifacts, with the most expensive detector type providing the exact location of an artifact relative to the user's position within a 200 meter radius. Once the user is within a few feet of the anomaly containing the artifact, the signal from the detector will induce the anomaly to spit out the artifact for the user to retrieve safely.
