When first introduced, V appears to be a heartless, sadistic, and sociopathic drone who is incredibly savage and greatly enjoys ruthlessly murdering Worker Drones. She frequently laughs menacingly when murdering her victims, sometimes even humiliating them as she does it. Despite this, she is capable of expressing some empathy, as when N is distraught after an encounter with the Absolute Solver, V hides the fact that the chains holding her captive are broken. Rather than escaping and leaving N alone, she moves it back into place, continuing to keep him company. On top of that, she is shown to be somewhat affected by his sadness, implying that she does care for N, even if she doesn't always understand him.
V is a former Worker Drone, converted by JCJenson into a Disassembly Drone and sent to Copper 9 to destroy runaway AI as Worker Drones. Her colleague and past love interest N teams up with Uzi who wants to rebel against the company and humanity. V conflicts with them until the three discovered the Absolute Solver, an immensely powerful artificial intelligence that afflicts Uzi and connected to N and V's past.
V has features of a typical female Disassembly Drone, with neon-yellow eyes and a silver bob-cut hairstyle. As with the other Disassembly Drones, she has a black headband with five sections of lights and a long black tail ending in a large syringe containing Nanite Acid. She wears a black-gray, short-sleeved crop coat with a fur collar and cuffs. Her legs are painted black up to her thighs, resembling thigh-high socks with a markings yellow and black stripes end of her feet.
When she is hunting, her visor displays a neon yellow long 'X' shape with jagged teeth. She also deploys large bladed-sharp wings and sharp claws that can easily tear through any drone.
