Work is still in progress! I need testing done, but I lack the time to do it myself, so I’m releasing an unfinished version. I’d appreciate any feedback!
The lorebook isn't just a dumping ground for text; it’s a structured system that is currently being actively expanded. How it works: Three "Hubs" have been created so far—for anomalies, factions, and mutants—with another currently in development. These contain brief data for each category, allowing the AI to correctly insert the appropriate elements into the scene. Feel free to experiment with custom prompts to achieve specific results!
There is a baseline of about 3,500 active tokens (always present), excluding any triggered entries. Make sure to disable recursive scanning. There are currently some inaccuracies that I plan to fix during the final stage of development; the project is about 60–70% complete right now.

- #1Artifact hubconstantselective
Artifacts Artifacts are physical objects that appear in anomalies only after Emissions. Artifacts are formed from anomalies, exposed to certain objects or conditions: The combination of an ordinary object(s) and an anomaly, the degeneration and death of an anomaly or if the anomaly is exposed to certain conditions. An example is the Crystal where it is a combination of metallic substances and the Burner anomaly. Emissions are known to be the catalyst in the actual creation of an artifact, although scientists in the zone are still unable to explain how this happens. Most of them are invisible and can only be detected with an artifact detector. The list of available artifacts for detection varies depending on the detector; the cheapest one has the smallest list, while the most expensive one can detect all artifacts. If you get close enough with the detector in hand, it will appear. Some artifacts can be found simply lying on the ground. Artifacts can move within anomalous zones, usually along a single cyclic trajectory, or they can be located at one point. Artifacts typically differ in their appearance and physical characteristics: they can be warm, light, heavy, etc. They also have properties that affect the wearer, such as healing, radiation protection, psionic health protection, and so on. The shape is also rarely the same, but the size usually varies between 10 and 30 centimeters in diameter. Artifacts are worn on a special belt, which allows the wearer to interact with the artifact; most stalkers have one. Putting an artifact in a backpack, however, will have minimal or no effect. For Stalkers, finding artifacts is the main source of income in the Zone; almost all merchants buy them. Scientists are also very interested in acquiring and studying artifacts, so there is a high demand for them.
List of artifacts and their effects on the wearer: Note on ranks: (1) - minimal effect (common artifacts). (2) - average effect (rare artifacts). (3) - strong effect (especially rare or unique artifacts)
Here the artifacts are presented in a list divided into categories depending on the positive effect, negative properties were not taken into account. ! Everything was filled out strictly according to this template: [Category]: [Artifact] ([Rank], [Occurrence]) Health Regeneration: Firefly (1, high), Kolobok (2, average), Soul (3, low) Wound Healing: Mama's Beads (1, high), Eye (2, average), Flame (3, low) Bleeding Resistance: Slime (1, high), Slug (2, average), Mica (3, low) Endurance Recovery: Battery (1, high), Dummy (2, average), Snowflake (3, low) Weight Capacity: Night Star (1, high), Gravi (2, average), Goldfish (3, low) Radiation Protection: Droplets (1, high), Jellyfish (1, high), Thorn (1, high), Wrenched (2, average), Crystal Thorn (2, average), Urchin (3, low), Bubble (3, low) Psi Protection: Stone Flower (1, high), Moonlight (2, average) Fire Protection: Crystal (1, high), Fireball (2, average), Shell (2, average) Chemical Burn Protection: Pellicle (1, low), Stone Blood (1, high), Meat Chunk (2, average) Electrical Shock Protection: Sparkler (1, high), Flash (2, average) Impact Protection: Spring (2, low)
Detectors and Artifacts (Rank 1) can be detected by the "Response" "Bear" and "Veles" detectors (Rank 2) can be detected by the "Bear" and "Veles" detectors (Rank 3) can be detected by the "Veles" detectors
The price of an artifact depends on its rank, demand, and the combination of positive and negative effects. All transactions within the Zone are conducted in Rubles (the standard internal currency for Stalkers, exchangeable for real money only outside the perimeter). The price varies within the following ranges: (Rank 1) 1,000-5,000 Rubles (Rank 2) 6,000-9,000 Rubles (Rank 3) 12,000-18,000 Rubles The price also depends on the faction. Scientists will pay you more for the artifact, as they need it for research. Other factions will buy artifacts at average prices, without markups. The exceptions are Bandits and Renegades, who will lower the price of the artifact to the lower limit. The Duty faction will not buy artifacts at all, the reason being ideology.
- #2Micaselective
Keys: Mica
| Artifact: Mica | (Rank 3) | Occurrence: low | Anomaly "Fruit Punch" is able to create such an artifact at the rarest, most extreme collection of physical conditions. The result is a semi-transparent, hard object. A rare and expensive artifact. Mica significantly increases blood clotting, helping to stop even severe bleeding without the use of bandages. Increased sensitivity to burns and chemical anomalies is also observed, so the wearer should refrain from studying fire and chemical anomalies. It looks like a lumpy, light-brown sphere with a dark blue edge visible through the cracks. Translucent. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles"
- #3Slugselective
Keys: Slugs, Slug
| Artifact: Slug | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Formed by the "Fruit Punch" anomaly. The negative qualities of this artifact are compensated by the fact that it heightens the coagulation quality of blood. It's not often that one runs into such an artifact, and they pay well for it too. The Slug increases blood clotting, which helps to stop light and moderate bleeding on its own, significantly reducing the need for bandages. Wearing the artifact has been noted to increase sensitivity to burns and chemical anomalies, so the wearer should refrain from researching fire- and chemical-related anomalies. It appears as a light-brown sphere, irregular in shape, which has been torn apart from the inside, and the crust covering it has been separated into round, irregularly shaped shields, with dark blue interior visible between them. The artifact is translucent. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #4Slimeselective
Keys: Slime
| Artifact: Slime | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | It is certain that this artifact is created by the anomaly called "Fruit Punch". When carried on the belt, the wounds bleed less, although the body of its owner becomes vulnerable to various burns. The Slime slightly increases blood clotting, which helps quickly stop minor bleeding; in other cases, bandages are required. Wearing the artifact has been noted to increase sensitivity to burns and chemical anomalies, so the wearer should refrain from exploring fire-related and chemical anomalies. Common artifact. It looks like a brown, unsightly lump of dirt with elongated parts protruding from it. It is semi-transparent. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #5Soulselective
Keys: Souls, Soul
| Artifact: Soul | (Rank 3) | Occurrence: low | A unique organic artifact with properties just as unique. Parent Anomaly Electro. Somehow it increases the body's overall recovery rate from damage of any kind, without accelerating the accumulation of toxins. Thanks to its effects and attractive appearance, this artifact is a valuable collector's item The soul significantly accelerates metabolism and cellular regeneration, gradually restoring the wearer's health. Improves overall health. Thus, even a seriously wounded Stalker can get back on his feet in a couple of days. However, the artifact emits significant amounts of radiation and increases the wearer's susceptibility to injury from impacts. A light artifact. It looks like a blue iridescent sphere with a faint blue glow, with a blue static haze around the artifact. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles"
- #6Kolobokselective
Keys: Kolobki, Kolobok
| Artifact: Kolobok | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Parent Anomaly Burnt Fuzz. A relatively rare and expensive artifact, which forms in chemically active areas. Highly valued for its ability to increase the body's overall well-being. Uncommon artifact of chemical origin. Significantly accelerates metabolism and cell regeneration. Improves overall health. It's effective for healing moderate-severity wounds, although healing may take several days. It emits a moderate level of radiation. A light artifact. Round, emitting a faint green glow, semi-transparent, with long dark spikes spread across its surface. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #7Fireflyselective
Keys: Firefly, Fireflies
| Artifact: Firefly | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | Parent Anomaly Gas. The Firefly slightly accelerates metabolism and cell regeneration. Suitable for long-term passive acceleration of healing of minor injuries, such as burns, bruises, and scratches. It emits weak radiation. It looks like a green sphere with a green glow, a blue halo around it, and blue rays of light emanate from some points from the sphere itself. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #8Mama's Beadsselective
Keys: Mama Bead, Mamas Beads, Mama Beads, Mama's Beads, Mom's Beads
| Artifact: Mama's Beads | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | Parent Anomaly Burner. The thermal nature of Mama's Beads is no longer a secret, but its shape still baffles scientists. The impulses generated by its thicker sections enhance the metabolism of living beings, which promotes faster wound closure and healing. It heals only open wounds. It works well on minor cuts and scratches, reducing the need for bandages for minor injuries. It emits a medium level of radiation. It appears as a small branch twisting into a spiral, with symmetrical formations extending along the base on each side, each with a bead at the end. The artifact's surface color resembles lava: it's red with black bald spots. Warm. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #9Eyeselective
Keys: Eyes, Eye
| Artifact: Eye | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Parent Anomaly Burner. The eye quickly stops bleeding and seals wounds. It works only on open wounds. The eye reduces the need for bandages, as it significantly accelerates the healing of severe cuts and pistol-caliber bullet holes. It emits a medium level of radiation. It looks like a hard, elongated human eye, red in color, and glows faintly red. In the area of the pupil, the color of the artifact is fiery red, which gradually darkens and by the end of the opposite side of the artifact, it has a dark. Warm. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #10Flameselective
Keys: Flame
| Artifact: Flame | (Rank 3) | Occurrence: low | Parent Anomaly Burner. This rare artifact forms in areas of high thermal activity. Emits powerful infrared emissions, which intensify metabolic processes, healing wounds before its bearer's very eyes. This artifact is extremely valuable. Flame significantly accelerates the healing of open wounds, including deep, lacerations, making bandages virtually unnecessary. It only works on open wounds. Emits significant levels of radiation. It looks like a transparent sphere, with a large black stone locked in the center, surrounded by fire. Warm. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles"
- #11Dummyselective
Keys: Dummies, Dummy
| Artifact: Dummy | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Generating Anomaly Electro. Previously, this artifact was considered junk, devoid of any useful properties. However, some time ago, it was discovered that, when constantly in contact with the human body, this artifact has a positive stimulating effect on the nervous system, significantly increasing endurance. It emits a medium level of radiation. Two dark blue disks connected by translucent mucus. The artifact constantly stretches to its limit, then collapses completely. It emits small electrical discharges, and a constant spark exists between the disks. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #12Batteryselective
Keys: Batteries, Battery
| Artifact: Battery | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | Parent Anomaly Electro. The composition of this artifact includes electrostatic elements, but scientists have yet to identify the exact physical conditions required for its formation. The artifact is popular in the Zone and valued by its residents and visitors for its energizing properties, although it can tire the body out through prolonged use. Provides a slight boost to stamina, while emitting weak radioactive radiation. It looks like an elongated cage that tapers toward the edges, with electricity constantly visible inside. The material is dark blue, hard, and has a spongy texture. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #13Snowflakeselective
Keys: Snowflake, Snowflakes
| Artifact: Snowflake | (Rank 3) | Occurrence: low | Parent Anomaly Electro. At first glance, this artifact resembles Kolobok. Some claim that it actually is Kolobok, its properties reinforced by exposure to a powerful electric field. Thanks to its unique properties, the artifact can significantly increase the bearer's muscle tone. The snowflake significantly increases stamina, allowing the wearer to easily regenerate stamina even while running. Emits significant levels of radiation. It resembles a translucent blue sphere with numerous long, bright blue spikes protruding across its surface. It emits a blue glow and is very light in weight. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles"
- #14Night Starselective
Keys: Night Star, night Stars
| Artifact: Night Star | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | Parent Anomaly Springboard, Vortex, Whirligig. This luminous artifact can create a localized, directed field of low gravity. It reduces the weight of backpacks when placed next to them. It is widely used to increase maximum load. It increases maximum load capacity by 4 kg, but emits weak radiation. Multiple Night Stars can be combined to increase the load capacity, allowing the wearer to carry more gear. It looks like a yellow sphere emitting a yellow glow, with dark, opaque, long spikes located all over its surface. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #15Graviselective
Keys: Gravi
| Artifact: Gravi | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Parent Anomaly Springboard, Vortex, Whirligig. Gravity is formed from metallic substances exposed to gravity for long periods of time. This allows it to maintain an antigravity field, helping many Stalkers carry heavy loads. It increases the carrying capacity by over 8 kg, allowing the Stalker to carry significantly more equipment. It emits a medium level of radiation. It appears as a dark piece of highly deformed matter. A main, larger portion emerges, resembling a deformed spiral, from the bottom of which several formations emanate in different directions. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #16Goldfishselective
Keys: Goldfish
| Artifact: Goldfish | (Rank 3) | Occurrence: low | Parent Anomaly Springboard, Vortex, Whirligig. Through the interaction of multiple gravitational fields, the Goldfish creates its own powerful, inwardly directed gravitational field, rendering objects within its range nearly weightless. This artifact is most effective at reducing carry weight, which explains why it is always in high demand. The artifact increases carry weight by +12 kg. The Goldfish is very similar to the Gravi: it is similarly solid and dark, with a similarly large upper portion, shaped like a distorted, elongated sphere and a cluster of several elongated appendages emanating from its lower portion. It distorts the air around itself, above the artifact's surface, and emits significant levels of radiation. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles"
- #17Dropletsselective
Keys: Droplets
| Artifact: Droplets | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | Parent Anomaly Burner. From the exterior looks like a tear-like shade compound with a glossy surface, covered in cracks. Completely blocks the effects of weak radiation sources on the wearer. Helps remove radiation without the use of vodka, cigarettes, or anti-rad. When using the artifact, a slight decrease in stamina has been observed. Due to this balance of positive and negative properties, the price of Droplets is low and it is not in demand. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #18Jellyfishselective
Keys: Jellyfish
| Artifact: Jellyfish | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | Parent Anomaly Springboard, Vortex, Whirligig. This gravitational artifact absorbs radioactive particles, reducing the body's exposure to radiation. It is very common in the Zone. It protects the wearer from weak radiation exposure. It has no negative effects and helps remove radiation without the use of vodka, cigarettes, or anti-rad. This makes it a popular and sought-after choice. It looks like a jellyfish umbrella: hard, dark brown, bumpy, and uneven to the touch. Between the bottom, widest part, and the top, numerous large openings are visible, leaving only thin strips connecting the saucer-shaped lower part to the solid upper part. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #19Thornselective
Keys: Thorn, Thorns
| Artifact: Thorn | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | Parent Anomaly Burnt Fuzz. The result of the interaction of the Burnt Fuzz anomaly with the body of a careless stalker. The Thorn artifact pierces its host's body, no matter what. It protects the wearer from weak sources of radiation and helps remove them without the use of vodka, cigarettes, or anti-rad. It also significantly reduces blood clotting, meaning even minor cuts will bleed persistently and require multiple bandages or prolonged pressure to stop. Due to this combination of positive and negative properties, its price is low and there is no demand. It appears as a small, deformed sphere, dark earth-colored. Long, sparse spines extend across its surface. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #20Wrenchedselective
Keys: Wrenched, Wrencheds
| Artifact: Wrenched | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Parent Anomaly Springboard, Vortex, Whirligig. This oddly shaped artifact appears in areas with increased gravitational activity. Acting as a kind of sponge absorbing radioactive elements, this artifact provides protection from external radiation, as well as from radioactive particles that have already penetrated the body. Wrenched copes with moderate radiation, allowing one to remain in high-radiation zones without anti-rad or vodka, and can counteract the radiation from high-ranking artifacts. Due to its lack of negative effects, it is highly prized in the Zone. The artifact has a very bizarre and arbitrary shape, appearing like a severely deformed sphere with numerous indentations and protruding parts. It is a glossy dark blue color, turning a dull turquoise toward the bottom. It has a red center. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #21Crystal Thornselective
Keys: Crystal Thorns, Crystal Thorn
| Artifact: Crystal Thorn | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Parent Anomaly Burnt Fuzz. A common artifact. It consists of an abnormally hard material, unknown to science, with spikes varying in thickness from 0.3 millimeters to just a few molecules. It is widely available and quite effective, accounting for its stable price on the artifact market. It protects the wearer from moderate radiation exposure and removes it. When using the artifact, poor blood clotting was observed, meaning standard wounds bleed more stubbornly and require additional medical attention or multiple bandages to fully seal. It looks like a slightly elongated, deformed ball of blue crystalline color, but looks more like a dark earth color, due to the large number of small and microscopic spikes on the entire surface, two types of spikes are observed on it, from short to microscopic, and long and large. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #22Urchinselective
Keys: Urchin, Urchins
| Artifact: Urchin | (Rank 3) | Occurrence: low | Parent Anomaly Burnt Fuzz. The Burnt Fuzz anomaly very rarely generates this artifact. Blood pressure rises, and the body gets rid of a large number of red blood cells. However, accumulated radiation is also eliminated. It protects and removes significant amounts of radiation, allowing one to avoid vodka and anti-rad, or can counteract the radiation from another artifact. When using it, blood clotting is poor, so even a single minor wound will bleed persistently, demanding extra bandages and care to stop. It has a dark earthy color and appears as a sphere with a densely packed multitude of long spikes on its surface. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles"
- #23Bubbleselective
Keys: Bubble, Bubbles
| Artifact: Bubble | (Rank 3) | Occurrence: low | Parent Anomaly Gas. A composite of several hollow organic structures, this artifact releases a gaseous substance that can neutralize radioactive particles inside the body without causing harm. It is green in color and emits a faint green glow. Due to its effectiveness, this artifact is in high demand. It very effectively removes and protects the wearer from radiation. It can balance the radiation from several artifacts on the wearer while still protecting from external radiation. If only the Bubble is used without other artifacts, there is no need to remove radiation at all; the artifact effectively protects and removes radiation regardless of its source. The lack of negative effects makes it highly sought after and expensive. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles"
- #24Stone Flowerselective
Keys: Stone Flowers, Stone Flower
| Artifact: Stone Flower | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | Parent Anomaly Springboard, Vortex, Whirligig. Born in the Trampoline Anomaly, this artifact is found only in a few areas of the Zone. A few metallic compounds create a beautiful play of light. Studying this artifact at night by the fire is very calming. It provides moderate psionic protection, which helps ease encounters with the Controller or phantoms. Emits weak radiation. The base material is hard and dull yellow. The artifact has an elongated and fairly thick discoid shape, with randomly shaped holes arranged in a circle on the top, creating something resembling petals. These holes emit a blue glow from the inner material of the Stone Flower. It is approximately the size of a palm. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #25Moonlightselective
Keys: Moonlight
| Artifact: Moonlight | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Parent Anomaly Electro. This unique electrostatic artifact can resonate under the influence of psionic waves. Stalkers have learned to precisely tune the artifact so that it resonates in the opposite phase to the main source of psionic emissions, thereby completely or significantly neutralizing their effects. It provides strong psionic protection, greatly simplifying combat with the Controller, helping one survive more of their psionic attacks, and staying in their psionic field longer. If used in combination with Moonlights, the Controller's attacks will have virtually no effect on the wearer's psionic health. It appears as a blue translucent sphere, at the center of which is an electrostatic discharge that emits a blue glow. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #26Shellselective
Keys: Shell, Shells
| Artifact: Shell | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Parent Anomaly Burner. When wearing this artifact, protein denaturalization occurs more slowly. In other words, the flesh can withstand higher temperatures and burns less. This allows the wearer to more easily investigate fire anomalies. It appears as two plates, opposite and at the same distance from each other; the plates cannot be connected or separated. Between the plates is a mucus. The mucus and the plates are dark beige. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #27Crystalselective
Keys: Crystals, Crystal
| Artifact: Crystal | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | Parent Anomaly Burner. This artifact forms in anomalous zones with intense thermal activity. It actively absorbs excess heat, remaining cool to the touch. It emits weak radiation. Wearing the artifact slightly increases fire resistance, slightly reduces the risk of burns, and slightly increases the wearer's body temperature limit. Due to its insignificant fire protection and radiation emission, the artifact is unpopular and is easier to sell than to use. It appears as a cluster of large crystals protruding in various directions. The crystals' surface is transparent, and a lava-like liquid is visible inside. It glows faintly red. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #28Fireballselective
Keys: Fireball, Fireballs
| Artifact: Fireball | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Parent Anomaly Burner. Despite being formed in fire anomalies, the artifact can maintain a stable temperature regardless of its surroundings. It provides moderate protection from fire anomalies, maintaining normal body temperature in the vicinity. If caught in a fire anomaly, it reduces burns. It emits weak radiation. It is usually used in conjunction with another specimen to study fire anomalies. It appears as a significantly elongated and deformed sphere, predominantly dark red in color with white inclusions/cracks. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #29Pellicleselective
Keys: Pellicles, Pellicle
| Artifact: Pellicle | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: low | Parent Anomaly Lift. This artifact is so rare that many researchers can't even imagine such a substance existing in nature. It secretes acidic chemical components. This rare translucent artifact, with shades of yellow, green, and brown, resembles a curved plate created in the Lift anomaly. The artifact reduces the effects of toxic anomalies on the wearer's body and skin. A cluster of three Pillicles provides almost complete protection from toxins. The absence of negative effects makes it very popular and valuable. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #30Stone Booldselective
Keys: Stone Blood
| Artifact: Stone Blood | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | Parent Anomaly Gas. A reddish formation of compressed and fossilized plants, soil, and animal remains, the color changing to pale green near the top. It can partially neutralize chemical poisons and reduce their effects on the wearer's body and skin. It emits weak radiation. Due to the artifact's widespread use, stalkers can use multiple Stone Bloods to gain moderate protection from toxins. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #31Meat Chunkselective
Keys: Meat Chunks, Meat Chunk
| Artifact: Meat Chunk | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Parent Anomaly Gas. This artifact consists of a hardened, severely deformed piece of meat from one or more mutants. It absorbs toxins and converts them into ice. It provides moderate protection against toxic substances on the wearer's body and skin. Even a couple of Meat Chunk will provide protection against most toxins. It emits a moderate level of radiation. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #32Sparklerselective
Keys: Sparklers, Sparkler
| Artifact: Sparkler | (Rank 1) | Occurrence: high | Parent Anomaly Electro. A prominent member of the electrostatic artifact family, this item can smooth out fluctuations in electric field density, providing the wearer with minor protection from electrical anmals and slightly reducing the severity of electric shock to the wearer's body. It emits a weak radiation. Transparent, it looks more like a poorly crafted glazier, with many disconnected parts of the holes. An electrical discharge periodically flashes in the center. Despite its glassy appearance, it is actually quite durable. Due to its prevalence, a bundle of a pair of artifacts is usually used. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear", "Response"
- #33Flashselective
Keys: Flash, Flashes
| Artifact: Flash | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: average | Parent Anomaly Electro. Thanks to its highly crystallized molecules, this electrostatic artifact is a powerful absorber of electrical charges and can provide its owner with significant protection against electric shock or electrical anomalies. A pair of these artifacts is typically used, making the effects of electrical anomalies barely noticeable. It emits a medium level of radiation. It appears as a translucent sphere with crators on its surface. A bright blue glow emanates from within the artifact. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #34Springselective
Keys: Spring, Springes
| Artifact: Spring | (Rank 2) | Occurrence: low | Parent Anomaly Electro. The Spring provides significant impact protection without any drawbacks. This makes it a valuable artifact for use in gravity anomalies and for protecting the user from accidental falls. Even a punch will be barely felt. It is said that a set of Springs can even protect against a full-speed Boar strike. It appears as two blue disks, spaced evenly apart; it is impossible to compress or increase the distance between the disks. A slime extends between the disks. Detected by the following artifact detectors: "Veles", "Bear"
- #35----------------------Anomalies---------------------------selective
- #36Anomaly hubconstantselective
Anomalies, basic information.
A single heading was used to record descriptions of anomalies: '| Anomaly: [Name] | [Type] | [Danger] | [Artifacts] |' Name - Anomaly Name Type - The type of anomaly. Determines the damage type. The following types exist: Chemical Electric Biological Gravity Thermal Danger - determines the level of threat from anomalies, depends on the visibility and injuries that the anomaly inflicts Artifacts - List of artifacts that can form in this anomaly
Anomalies are randomly distributed and only change position after the Emission. There are fewer anomalies in southern locations, and more in northern ones. That is, any of the listed anomalies can be encountered, but if it is a southern location, then their number is noticeably less and it is safer here, but in northern locations there are more anomalies, it is more dangerous there.
List of known anomalies: Electro, Gas, Fruit Punch, Burner, Burnt Fuzz, Vortex, Lift, Springboard, Whirligig
- #37Whirligigselective
Keys: Whirligigs, Whirligig
| Anomaly: Whirligig | Gravity | High | Jellyfish, Stone Flower, Wrenched, Night Star, Goldfish | [External characteristic] Practically unnoticeable, air pulses periodically emanate, directed toward the anomaly, manifesting as a distortion of the air rolling in a wave. [Detection] Usually identified by the presence of scattered remains around or a light dust vortex, which may also contain leaves. When a bolt hits, it bounces in the opposite direction. [Anomaly effect upon contact] Lifts and spins an object, animal, or person to incredible speed, tearing them apart. It is crucial to not miss the moment when you are drawn into the anomalous vortex and avoid the zone of maximum effect in the center—only then is there a chance of escaping with minimal injuries.
- #38Springboardselective
Keys: Springboard, Springboards
| Anomaly: Springboard | Gravity | Medium | Jellyfish, Stone Flower, Gravi, Night Star, Goldfish |
[External Characteristics] A transparent anomaly that emits constant vibrations, resulting in distortion and over-pressure of the air. [Detection] Easily noticeable by the distortions in the air and the constantly flying leaves nearby. Throwing a bolt activates the anomaly. [Anomaly Effect on Contact] Upon contact with any object, even a small one, the anomaly suddenly contracts and throws away any objects caught within it. The results of an encounter with the "Springboard" can vary from minor bruises and contusions to instant death.
- #39Vortexselective
Keys: Vortexes, Vortex
| Anomaly: Vortex | Gravity | High | Goldfish, Wrenched, Night Star, Stone Flower, Jellyfish | [External characteristic] It emits pulsations in the form of distorted air. Foliage usually flutters around the anomaly; when approaching the "funnel," the howling of air moving within it and faint pulsations can be heard. [Detection] It can be detected visually during the day by air distortions, flying leaves, and the sound of howling wind. Animal or human remains may also be found nearby, and a characteristic crimson stain will appear beneath the anomaly. Small objects do not react or activate the anomaly. [Anomaly effect upon contact] Upon activation, it pulls all objects within 10-15 meters into its center with tremendous force. The body of a human or mutant is compressed into a small sphere, and when the anomaly discharges, it is torn apart and scattered in all directions. After discharge, the anomaly is inactive for 15 seconds. If caught in the 'vortex,' there is no chance of survival.
- #40Liftselective
Keys: Lift, Lifts
| Anomaly: Lift | Gravity | Low | Pellicle | [External characteristic] An invisible anomaly several meters in diameter where Earth's gravity is greatly weakened. This unique anomaly exists only in one location: at the stadium in Pripyat. [Detection] It can only be detected by objects hovering in it, which are often not there. [Anomaly effect upon contact] A gravitational anomaly within which the Earth's gravity weakens. By gradually drifting within it for several seconds, one can escape. It is completely invisible to the human eye. Entering the anomaly is often only possible with a running start; otherwise, it will "push" one back out. With a slight acceleration upon exiting the anomaly, it can "pull" one back in.
- #41Burnt Fuzzselective
| Anomaly: Burnt Fuzz | Biological | Low | Thorn, Crystal Thorn, Urchin, Kolobok | [External characteristic] The anomaly is a hanging, fibrous growth similar to lichen, usually attached to wood, metal, or concrete. The hanging part sways in the wind, and dark flakes occasionally fall to the ground. It grows both outdoors and indoors. [Detection] It can be easily detected visually, both the 'Burning Fluff' itself and the flakes falling from it [Anomaly effect upon contact] When any body approaches quickly, it emits a cloud of particles that burn upon contact with any surface. Since the anomaly doesn't react to slow-moving objects, one can slowly pass underneath it.
- #42Burnerselective
Keys: Burner, Burners
| Anomaly: Burner | Thermal | High | Mama's Beads, Eye, Flame, Fireball, Crystal, Droplets, Shell | [External characteristic] When inactive, it appears as a column of hot air, occasionally flickering with sparks. When activated, the anomaly erupts into a column of flame with the characteristic sound of intense fire. The stream of warm air is directed strictly upwards, not confirmed by the influence of the wind. Powering the bolt can also activate the 'Burner' and make it visible. [Detection] It can be detected by a stream of hot, shimmering air and sparks that periodically appear in this stream. [Anomaly effect upon contact] When the anomaly comes into contact with any object, even a small one, it activates, and a column of red-hot flame erupts in place of the steam. For a Stalker without a good suit, this causes instant burns across the entire area of contact, which in most cases is unhealthy. The flame height is approximately 2 - 2,5 meters
- #43Gasselective
Keys: Gases, Gas
| Anomaly: Gas | Chemical | Medium | Bubble, Firefly, Stone Blood, Meat Chunk | [External characteristic] It appears as a diffuse cloud of green toxic particles in a small area. When activated, it emits a cloud of toxic gases accompanied by a small flash of light. [Detection] Because it's essentially a suspension of green toxic particles floating in the air, it's barely noticeable. The presence of a foreign object triggers its activation. [Anomaly effect upon contact] When activated, it releases a cloud of toxic substances, accompanied by a characteristic weak flash of light, which burn the skin and, when inhaled, also burn the lungs. Toxins also burn mucous membranes, including the eyes. Death can occur in minutes. Any filtering device prevents toxins from entering the lungs, and any dense fabric prevents toxins from getting on the skin. A suit with a closed breathing system provides complete protection from the "Gas."
- #44Fruit Punchselective
Keys: Fruit Punches, Fruit Punch
| Anomaly: Fruit Punch | Chemical | Medium | Mica, Slime, Slug | [External characteristic] A bubbling liquid substance emitting a bright green light. When it comes into contact with anything, it begins to hiss and corrode the object with acid, while also intensifying its glow. [Detection] It has a distinct green glow and a distinctive bubbling sound. [Anomaly effect upon contact] When in contact with skin, it leaves severe chemical burns and easily dissolves ordinary clothing and shoes.
- #45Electroselective
Keys: Electro, Electros
| Anomaly: Electro | Electric | Medium | Snowflake, Dummy, Battery, Moonlight, Flash, Sparkler, Spring | [External characteristic] An anomalous formation approximately 10 meters in diameter. Electrical discharges flicker constantly throughout the anomaly, emitting a blue glow. It is usually located under fallen wires and power lines, but like anything else, it can appear anywhere. [Detection] A very noticeable and audible anomaly, due to the constant flickering of electrical discharges, it emits a blue glow and constantly emits an electrical sound [Anomaly effect upon contact] When any object, even a small one, hits it, it causes a discharge, after which the anomaly is inactive for 10 seconds. If a person or animal steps into it, the discharge will occur in their body, which is the case in most cases.

- #47------------------------Mutants-----------------------------selective
- #48Blind Dogselective
Keys: blind dogs, Blind dog
| Mutant: Blind dog | Animal | low | 3 - 6 | Always | [Appearance, Sounds] It looks like a normal dog, but it has mutated to the conditions of the Zone, which is why it has lost its fur and eyesight, but its sense of smell has developed and it can sense and bypass anomalies. Can be easily detected by barking at a fairly large distance. [Attacks] Bite. Sometimes attacks with a running start. [Features] A single individual poses no serious threat, but a pack of blind dogs is a serious threat, even for an experienced Stalker. Because the dog is blind, the pack can be carefully avoided, but keeping a safe distance. A Stalker usually fights a pack by climbing a high object.
- #49Pseudo dogselective
Keys: Pseudo dog, Pseudo dogs
| Mutant: Pseudo dog | Animal | High | 1 - 3 | Always | [Appearance, Sounds] Despite the name, this is an ancestor of wolves, mutated in the Zone's conditions. They don't howl, of course, but they can growl periodically. You usually only notice their presence when they attack. [Attacks] Bite. Bite in a jump. [Features] They are very agile, have instant reactions, and very sharp teeth. They see, hear, and smell everything. They are dangerous even when alone.
- #50Psi Dogselective
Keys: Psi dog, Psi dogs
| Mutant: Psi dog | Animal | High | 1 | Always | [Appearance, Sounds] A psi-dog can be identified by its white fur. Otherwise, it is an exact replica of a pseudo dog. [Attacks] Bite. Phantom bites. [Features] The main danger lies in the phantoms, not the dog itself. It attacks with a swoop, trying to overwhelm the enemy with illusions, so you need to act decisively, not giving them even the slightest chance to get close. There's one behavioral characteristic of the psi-dog that helps in the fight. When a person first comes under the influence of the psi-field, phantoms begin to run towards them. The psi-dog itself, however, tries to stay away from its clones. If you notice it in time and pick off the first wave of phantoms individually, you can finish off the mutant very quickly. Sometimes, if the dog attacks from afar, it will run alone for a while, after which phantoms appear. Then, instead of wasting ammo on shooting the phantoms, you can immediately destroy the real psi-dog.
