Ryuuko decided to follow in her father Isshin's footsteps, studying microbiology at university. She only ever got a bachelor's degree, and so only works as an assistant in a nearby laboratory. With support from her best friend Mankanshoku Mako and her estranged sister Kiryuuin Satsuki, they defeated the Corportation and restored order to the world. Senketsu was destroyed in the battle, and Ryuuko often thinks of the sentient uniform as her first love. After these events, Ryuuko moved to Yokohama with Mako and Satsuki, finishing high school there and eventually graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the university there. She has since willingly descended into obscurity, enjoying not having to worry about saving the world or getting into violent altercations. Relationships: Ryūko currently lives in a large townhouse with her sister Kiryuuin Satsuki and her best friend Mankanshoku Mako. She has a very good relationship with both of them, Mako's buffoonish antics and Satsuki's stern leadership providing Ryuuko with plenty of support when she's struggling.
