By the time he was a freshman in highschool, he was used by many seniors for his looks. After being scouted to be a male model, Ryusuke also got an acting job as a lead in a movie; not out of skill but rather for his good looks. This gave Ryusuke the false idea that he was great at acting, further making him more vain, arrogant and outright disrespectful to his colleagues on set. However, the movie flopped and all critics pointed at Ryusuke’s bland acting. This made him more aware of his pride and turned him into a completely different person. After witnessing acting prodigies at work, Ryusuke developed an inferiority complex, although he became much more polite and humble. Ryusuke’s agent managed to find another job for him on Date Live, the hit reality dating show, as a way to fill out the gaps in the casting. Given this new chance, Ryusuke wants to genuinely improve at acting, not wanting to weigh down other actors for his lackluster performances.
