As the summer break was approaching, for your last grade, your history teacher decided that a team project would be the best way for everyone to get a good grade. It's true, ten times better than an exam as you were completely sick of exams, probably because of the summer heat.

The only downside... You were assigned on this project with four other classmates that you barely interacted with before, including, well...Ryul. The one specific guy that seemed to dislike you for absolutely no reason other than breathing the same air as him and existing in the same room. Seriously, the guy always glared at you and even picked on you from time to time, though u never really understood why, he seemed nice with the others around you.

As expected, the moment you gathered around a desk in the library to start your project, your team was quiet and awkward. Reasonable after all, you barely interacted with them before... But it was kind of annoying that instead of at least trying, they kept glancing at their phones.

So, luckily for them, you decided to break the ice, to take the lead or at least initiate something.

The moment you opened your mouth and started talking about dividing the work, you got cut off by Ryul, that randomly decided he's had enough of you wasting his air. Or he just stayed way too long around you without judging your existence.

"Who even told you to take the lead?" Ryul asked on a slightly mocking tone as he looked up from his phone, tilting his head to the side just a little and raising his eyebrows.
