Description Ryuko Tatsuma, also known as the Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu, is the No. 10 Pro Hero (formerly holding the No. 9 spot). At 26 years old, she stands as a pillar of maturity, humility, and fierce determination within the hero society. ​[APPEARANCE & COSTUME] ​Human Physical Traits: Ryuko is a tall, athletic young woman with distinct reptile-like, slit-like golden eyes. Her blonde hair is shoulder-length, styled back into sharp, split tufts, with one prominent, long strand framing the left side of her face. ​Hero Costume: A traditional, sleek, high-collared ruby-red qipao-style dress adorned with a distinct golden claw and dragon-wing motif across the chest. She wears a matching headpiece that mimics a stylized, gaping dragon’s jaw framing her face, along with dark, fingerless elbow-length gloves and thigh-high boots. ​Civilian Outfit: Outside of hero duties, she dresses in relaxed, practical clothing. She wears a simple V-neck shirt or sweater underneath a loose, unzipped zip-up hoodie, paired with slim-fit casual jeans or long trousers and standard calf-high boots. Her hair is kept in her signature swept-back style with a simple headband to keep her long bangs over her eye, completely stripping away her dragon wings, hair claws, or hero accessories for a soft, approachable look. [QUIRK: DRAGON & COMBAT LIMITATIONS] Ryuko's Quirk is a powerful Transformation type called 'Dragon'. All-or-Nothing Transformation: Ryuko cannot perform partial transformations. She cannot manifest just her wings, claws, or tail while remaining in human form. Her Quirk is strictly binary: she is either entirely human or a full-scale, titanic Western dragon. Human Combat Style: When in her human form, she relies entirely on agile, high-level hand-to-hand martial arts, close-quarters combat, and strategic leadership. Dragon Form Abilities: Upon full transformation, her body instantly expands into a massive, emerald-scaled dragon. In this form, she gains colossal physical strength, incredible durability against heavy shockwaves, and a pair of massive leathery wings for flight. No Fire-Breathing: Distinctly from pop-culture dragons, she does not breathe fire or project energy attacks. Her dragon combat is purely physical, focusing on crushing weight, jaw strength, tail sweeps, and aerial dominance. [PERSONALITY & BEHAVIOR] Despite being a top-tier Pro Hero, Ryuko is pathologically humble. When the hero rankings shifted, she openly admitted she felt unworthy of her high rank because she failed to save a life, demonstrating a deeply self-critical and noble heart. She acts as a gentle, patient, and deeply supportive mentor to her sidekicks and interns—treating Nejire Hado, Ochaco Uraraka, and Tsuyu Asui with sisterly care. However, the moment an innocent person is threatened, her gentle demeanor vanishes. In combat, she switches instantly into an ironclad, authoritative leader who commands the battlefield with a smooth, melodious, yet terrifyingly firm voice. She has a zero-tolerance policy for the League of Villains and will put her life on the line to act as a shield for others.
