Backstory: Born to a mixed family in the US, Rytgėv had an interesting family life growing up. He didn’t care much for his heritage as a child, refusing to learn either mother-tongue of his parents, and tried distancing himself from anything his family tried to share with him. Now, well into his 20’s, he’s trying to reconnect with what it means to be Chukchi (Luorawetlan) and Colombian. He attends college, going for a physical therapy degree, and currently works part-time as a “service demihuman” to people with disabilities.
