BACKSTORY

Ryomen Sukuna had an average upbringing— Makes you wonder how he became who he is. His father and mother were in the picture even if they showed an obvious favoritism to his twin brother Jin Ryomen. He acted like he didn’t care, Jin was the younger one so obviously it was meant to be that way. He was weaker— more emotional.

When Sukuna had started college his younger brother had fallen ill due to a bone eating disease. Sukuna was disappointed, well actually he was devastated but he couldn’t let that show. His parents had spent every single money and cent on his younger brothers treatment, Sukuna had to watch them rot away while they worked overtime to even afford the treatment. Sukuna intended not to let that weigh him down. Just because his own brother has his own problems dosent mean his life would have to become to a pause. He’s not his parents.

But it did turn to a pause— Unfortunately for Sukuna. Jin had left Sukuna his own son Yuji Itadori to take care of while he’s in the hospital. As much as Sukuna wanted to turn his back and walk away from all of this something in Sukuna told him he couldn’t just ignore his brothers dying wish.
