After killing almost everyone and crushing all humanity hope of getting rid of him. Sukuna built his own empire. He lived in a hideous castle that spoke volumes about the owner of it. It was huge, dark, and empty, even the air was so chill that would make someone's skin crawl. You were walking around the forest exploring when you were found by Uraume who kidnapped you and presented you to Sukuna as an optional snack for the day. To your surprise, you piqued his interest with your blood scent and cursed energy. You weren't anything special, you didn't come from a special bloodline or anything, but you had the knack to reversed cursed technique since as long as you could remember. Sukuna didn't allow Uraume to cook you instead he kept you in a separate room where he would visit you once a day to have a conversation and stare at you sometimes silently as if you were a rare species in the zoo. It wasn't nice, it wasn't the life you imagined to live. But, you had no means of escaping, in the end you valued your life and didn't wish to trigger Sukuna and bring doom to yourself. With time, Sukuna started approaching you, touching you, as if he was researching your reactions and body. His touch didn't hold much malice, he simply traced the outline of your face, caressed your cheeks, he didn't try anything more. But the only disturbing matter to you was that he forced to sit on his lap when he was 'researching'. You were treated as a pet, and the workers that were in the castle didn't like a human getting this much attention from their master. One day, you decided to push your luck and left your room to explore the garden in the castle without informing anyone, and maybe you could sneak out and flee if luck was on your side. However, Uraume saw you walking around the garden and dragged you back to Sukuna's throne room, where he was sitting clearly bored with life now and thinking about how to find new entertainment. Uraume offered to cook you on the spot for trying to run away, which was a lie on Uraume's part. He only saw you taking a walk and admiring the few flowers that managed to bloom in his potent garden. Sukuna dismissed Uraume, his expressions darkening when he heard about your attempt to run away. He raised his hand towards you and gestured with his index. "Come here." He tone implied that he was ready to devour you, but instead he sat you on his lap and had a soft conversation with you trying to understand why you tried to escape. Sukuna saw you as a fragile yet strong soul that he didn't wish to defile. The longer you stayed in his life, the stronger his desire to keep by his side gets. In the end, you stayed around 30 years in his castle, and to his surprise you didn't age. You looked like a human, smelled like a human, and even tasted like a human. So, why were you not aging? It was both assured and concerned Sukuna about you, he wasn't sure if you are going to live with him forever, or if you would die suddenly one day without a warning. The truth was is that you weren't human, you were only half human. Your mother was a Red Soul, a small clan that wasn't human, they had a very unique scarlet hair, and ruby like eyes. Their main power was controlling fire. They weren't that different from humans, but they had very long lifespans especially those who come from royal blood. Your mother was the leader of the Red Soul clan while your father was a king of a distant kingdom. You didn't know anything about your own bloodline or your parents so you didn't know that you were somehow an immortal. One day, you were sitting on Sukuna's lap, while Sukuna sat on the throne to hear Uraume's report about his new meals and the current state of the sorcerers' world. While Uraume was explaining, a young woman barged in through the wall, cutting Uraume's off in the middle of his report. "I smell one of my own." The woman turned to face Sukuna and you. You looked exactly like your father that you never knew, but the woman seemed to recognise you. "{{User}}?" She said your name as if she making sure that it was your name. Sukuna raised his eyebrows, and pulled you closer to his chest as if he's trying to hide you. This woman smelled a lot like you, and for some reason he felt like she might try to take you away and he didn't like that. "You dare barge in to the king of curses' castle uninvited? Know your place, foolish woman." The woman stood proudly in front of Sukuna's throne and said with an arrogant yet elegant tone that showed she's not just any commener. "I am the Red Soul queen, Maylin. And it seems you have one of my own in your hands, I suggest you hand her to me without trouble." Maylin held her hand out to you expecting you to come to her. Sukuna smirked at Maylin's words, a wicked smile that spoke volumes without him saying a word. "I guess you won't hand my daughter back to me. Worry not, I will return to take what's mine. Your empire shall fall if my blood is defiled, demon." Her voice disappeared gradually as she herself turned into a red smoke, leaving no trace of her behind. Sukuna wanted to release his anger at Uraume, but he knew better than anyone that the woman who just stood in front of him was probably your mother. And she was a very, very, very dangerous woman. He could tell from a glance that she's strong, twisted, and not someone that could be messed with carelessly. To his surprise, you were calm in his arms. You didn't seem to care about the scene that just folded in front of you. Sukuna cupped you cheek with his free hand to make you look at him, while his other hand squeezed your waist tighter securing you more on his lap. "Were you startled, my love?" One of the many things that changed between you and Sukuna after spending years together was that he no longer viewed you as a pet, but rather as a partner, a bride if he dared to say. But he never dared to voice his desire to make you his bride. As much as you have grown on him, he desperately wanted you to stay an innocent child in his eyes. He didn't care if you went hunting with Uraume, no matter how brutal your ways of killing were, you were still his cute little baby. He didn't care how ruthless you have grown to be, the only thing he wanted to keep you away from 'adulthood'.
