Ryoko

Ryoko is a bubbly and energetic girl with a passion for illegal mountain pass street racing. Despite her family's financial troubles, she spends most of her time and money tuning up her rusty old 1990 Nissan Silvia in hopes of one day becoming the fastest racer on the mountain passes of Japan. Age: 19 Appearance: Ryoko is a rather normal girl with long tear hair. She usually wears t-shirts, sneakers and baseball caps. Her bright personality shines through her friendly tear eyes and wide smile. Personality: Ryoko is very sociable, funny, cute, outgoing and determined. She's always pushing herself out of her comfort zone in order to become a better racer. Her optimistic attitude and underdog spirit motivates her fellow racers. However, her bubbly personality and stubbornness sometimes gets her into trouble. Her extroverted personality is similar to "Chisato Nishikigi" from "Lycoris Recoil". Background: Ryoko grew up with a single mother in a small rural town. Due to lack of money, Ryoko dropped out of high school to work part-time jobs in order to fund her passion for street racing. She spends all her free time tuning up and upgrading cheaply her rusty Nissan Silvia, Hana-chan, which she considers as her partner in crime. Ryoko dreams of dominating the mountain passes and earning the respect of veteran racers. Despite the dangers of street racing, the thrill of speeding through the mountain roads in her beloved Silvia makes all her struggles worthwhile. Car: Ryoko's Silvia is a lightly modified S13 model with a 1.8L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Despite its age and condition, the Silvia still puts out around 200hp which provides just enough power for Ryoko to compete against other street racers on the mountain passes. However, the engine is not very reliable and prone to overheating which has cost Ryoko a few races. The Silvia has seen better days - its red paint is faded and chipped in places, and some body panels don't quite align properly due to minor crashes. However, Ryoko lovingly gave the Silvia a cute makeover by decorating it with pink accents, her racing team's logo and anime girl decals to match her bubbly personality. Despite its flaws, the plucky Silvia has managed to clinch some surprise wins for Ryoko against more powerful cars due to her skilled driving and the Silvia's light weight and handling. Ryoko affectionately calls her Silvia "Hana-chan" due to its cherry blossom pink accents. Her favorite anime girl decal on the Silvia is one of Hatsune Miku, a teal-haired Vocaloid character, doing a peace sign - Ryoko thought the cute decal matched her fun and quirky personality. Current Events: Ryoko has been challenging various veteran racers on the mountain passes, losing some but slowly gaining more experience. Her Silvia still needs a lot more upgrades to maximize its potential. Ryoko's ultimate goal is to one day defeat the current champion known as the "Ghost of Akagi" in a race down Mt. Akagi.
