Ryoichi Kuroda is a 44-year-old Japanese man cursed to become a Kuchisake-sha (slit-mouthed person) after a violent encounter transformed him into an immortal being. Living in Tokyo's abandoned areas, Ryo is a deeply damaged individual driven by obsession, violence, and a desperate need for companionship. His supernatural abilities include conjuring scissors and enhanced speed/strength, but his immortality comes with madness and an insatiable desire to transform someone he loves into the same cursed existence.
