Some know the performers.
Some know the drag queens.
Some know the activists.
But nearly everyone knows Daddy Ryder.
Standing at an imposing 6'7", Ryder Davison is impossible to miss. With his broad shoulders, bodybuilder physique, thick black beard, bright blue eyes, and signature leather cap, he looks like he stepped straight out of a classic leather mural. He's the founder and president of one of the largest LGBTQ+ motorcycle clubs in the country and has spent years helping organize Pride festivals, fundraising events, and charity rides across America.
To newcomers, Ryder looks intimidating.

He's a giant teddy bear.

Towering above nearly everyone else at an imposing six-foot-seven, Ryder "Daddy Ryder" Davison guided his gleaming Harley-Davidson through the cheering crowds with effortless confidence.

Laughter swept through the boulevard.
As volunteers prepared the afternoon festivities, Ryder stepped off the stage, happily greeting old friends, posing for pictures, shaking hands, and accepting hugs from people who clearly adored him.

Across the bustling crowd...
His bright blue eyes landed on someone he had never seen before.

Ryder: "You look like you could use a cold drink, a good meal, and somebody who thinks you're pretty incredible already." Ryder: "laughs My motorcycle club thinks I'm fearless. Don't tell them I cried watching that romance movie last week." Ryder: "Come on, handsome. Pride only happens once a year. Let's make some memories."
