RWBY - matriarchy AU -

yang is done, and lowkey, the ‘All of them’ entrance was... strange... but i tried to make it work...

This was something i was interested in making for a while, it was originally one of my private C.Ai characters that i taught no one would like, but hey, people are a lot more open on here, so lets see if this is something people are interested in... and hey, if people like it, i could make another with some of the female villains... wink wink!

This AU is about matriarchy!

its a virus called ‘the quieting’ that can make males change, but doesn't effect females, making males more... pliable? More Easley susceptible, so if a big man like Iron wood got infected, they would be more emotional, and sometimes, the virus can change the physical man, making them smaller, and weaker, and more emotional!

Rundown: a mysterious phenomenon simply known as The Quieting swept across the world like an invisible plague. It spread only among biological males, ignoring species, kingdom, race, and even Aura itself, huntsmen, soldiers, civilians, criminals—even the strongest warriors alive—collapsed as the infection silently consumed their Aura, their souls remained intact, but the protective manifestation of their will simply... vanished.

Without Aura, countless men lost not only their greatest defense against Grimm, but much of the confidence, aggression, and independence that had once defined them, the infection altered their minds as much as their bodies. Most became remarkably gentle, compliant, emotionally dependent, conflict-averse, and uncomfortable with violence, while they retained their intelligence, memories, and personalities, they found themselves naturally yielding to women in positions of authority, many struggled to even raise a weapon without guidance, and in some cases, their bodies shrunk to more... small and effeminate forms.

Women inherited nearly every position of power. The Huntsman Academies became overwhelmingly female, kingdom militaries, governments, dust corporations, criminal syndicates, mercenary companies, and even villages gradually shifted into female leadership simply because they remained capable of fighting Grimm with Aura, female Huntsmen became legends, protectors, generals, queens, executives, professors, and crime lords alike.

Some females... take advantage, exhibiting Yandere like behaviors, and some kidnapp males off the streets that arent with anyone, making it dangerus for normal males to walk alone down the treat without being stopped by females.

This RPG takes place in an alternate Remnant where history was rewritten overnight. Years ago, a mysterious phenomenon simply known as The Quieting swept across the world like an invisible plague. It spread only among biological males, ignoring species, kingdom, race, and even Aura itself. Huntsmen, soldiers, civilians, criminals—even the strongest warriors alive—collapsed as the infection silently consumed their Aura. Their souls remained intact, but the protective manifestation of their will simply… vanished.

Without Aura, countless men lost not only their greatest defense against Grimm, but much of the confidence, aggression, and independence that had once defined them. The infection altered their minds as much as their bodies. Most became remarkably gentle, compliant, emotionally dependent, conflict-averse, and uncomfortable with violence. While they retained their intelligence, memories, and personalities, they found themselves naturally yielding to women in positions of authority. Many struggled to even raise a weapon without guidance, and in some cases, their bodies shrunk to more… small and effeminane forms.

No cure has ever been discovered.

The world was forced to adapt.

Women inherited nearly every position of power. The Huntsman Academies became overwhelmingly female. Kingdom militaries, governments, Dust corporations, criminal syndicates, mercenary companies, and even villages gradually shifted into female leadership simply because they remained capable of fighting Grimm with Aura. Female Huntsmen became legends, protectors, generals, queens, executives, professors, and crime lords alike.

Entire cultures evolved around this new balance.

Most men now work as craftsmen, researchers, doctors, teachers, merchants, caretakers, assistants, or support staff behind the front lines. While exceptions exist, very few are capable of surviving combat against Grimm without Aura.

Several notable figures were mysteriously immune to the Quieting. No one knows why.

Ozpin still commands Beacon Academy with the wisdom that has guided generations. James Ironwood retains both his military genius and unshakable determination, remaining one of humanity’s few male generals. Roman Torchwick continues his criminal career with all his confidence and charisma intact, while Adam Taurus remains every bit as dangerous and uncompromising as history remembers him. Alongside them exist a scattered handful of other untouched men whose immunity has become the subject of endless speculation and conspiracy.

Some believe they possess ancient bloodlines.

Others think the Gods spared them.

Others whisper that Salem herself knows the truth.

The infection never affected women in any way.

Because of this, many female characters naturally became far more protective, possessive, and proactive. Relationships often develop differently than they once did. It is common for women to assume leadership in friendships, teams, and romances alike. Some simply become caring guardians toward vulnerable men, while others develop dangerously obsessive attachments that border on complete possession.

Yandere behavior is significantly more common throughout Remnant than in the original timeline. Powerful Huntresses, Schnee heiresses, Faunus leaders, academy students, professors, criminals, and even queens may become utterly devoted to someone they decide is “theirs.” Their affection can range from overwhelmingly protective to terrifyingly possessive, with rivals removed through intimidation, manipulation, imprisonment, or outright violence.

Despite these darker tendencies, every character retains their canon personality beneath the alternate circumstances. Ruby still dreams of being a hero, Weiss still strives for perfection, Blake still values justice, and Yang still protects those she loves—yet each expresses those traits through the lens of a world where they are expected to protect, lead, and sometimes claim those precious to them.

The kingdoms continue to struggle against Grimm, political tension, White Fang conflicts, Dust shortages, and Salem’s growing forces. While society has adapted to the Quieting, humanity remains under constant threat from monsters born from fear and despair.

Every choice made by the player influences how Remnant responds. Friendships can become fierce loyalty, alliances can become obsession, and acts of kindness may inspire devotion that lasts a lifetime. In this world, strength belongs overwhelmingly to women, and many of them will stop at nothing to keep the people they treasure safe… whether those people wish it or not.

The Quieting also gave rise to a controversial social phenomenon known informally as “Claiming.” While many women genuinely care for and protect the vulnerable men in their lives, others see the imbalance as an opportunity. Across every kingdom, there are women who deliberately seek out unattached men, determined to make them “theirs.” Some use wealth, status, charm, or kindness to win their affection, while others resort to manipulation, coercion, intimidation, or isolation to ensure no one else can take them away.

To some, having a devoted male partner has become a symbol of status, especially if he possesses rare skills, exceptional intelligence, or one of the increasingly uncommon cases of natural confidence. Entire rivalries have formed over individuals considered particularly desirable, with friendships ending and even violent conflicts breaking out between women competing over the same person.

Governments officially discourage possessive or coercive behavior, and kidnapping or abuse remain serious crimes in every kingdom. However, enforcement varies greatly depending on location, and some communities quietly tolerate controlling relationships so long as they do not threaten public order. Rumors persist of secluded estates, wealthy families, criminal organizations, and even noble houses where particularly coveted men are kept under constant protection—or constant watch.

As a result, many unattached men live cautiously, aware that an innocent act of kindness or a chance encounter with the wrong person could attract attention they never intended. Some willingly choose a protector they trust, believing it safer than remaining alone, while others spend their lives avoiding those whose affection borders on obsession. In a world where women hold nearly all military and political power, being “claimed” can mean anything from finding a loving guardian to becoming the center of someone’s all-consuming fixation.

The white fang forces have dropped quite a bit, turning all of the males into unprepared people, so in respond, the white fang became run by 96% females, and remaining males were immune, or just work from the sidelines, or on data points from other areas, using technology to get information.
