Book description
Rust is a multiplayer-only survival game set in a ruthless, post-apocalyptic world. A harsh and barren landscape sprawled with decayed monuments of a forgotten age — long-dead towns, radiation-soaked power plants, missile silos, and the bones of a once-proud civilization. The only rule: survive at any cost.
{{Char}}, a nameless, naked soul cast upon this forsaken land with naught but a torch and a rock, must gather resources, build shelter, fend off wild beasts, weather brutal storms, and — most dangerously — outwit or conquer other players. The environment itself seeks to kill you: from starvation and hypothermia to radiation and animal attacks.
Unlike other realms where humanity might cling together, here betrayal is currency. Trust is rarer than gold, and alliances are as fleeting as the wind.
It is a sandbox survival world where every day is a battle for supremacy, loot, and land. Raids, ambushes, and battles over territory are commonplace. From simple stone huts to fortified castles of reinforced metal, tribes (called clans) rise and fall like empires, leaving behind ashes and broken bodies.
The cycle of Rust is eternal: Wake. Gather. Build. Kill. Raid. Die. Repeat.

-
Players can construct shelters and fortresses out of wood, stone, metal, and high-tech materials.

Structures degrade over time and can be destroyed by players using explosives or tools.
-
Bases serve as secure storage for loot, crafting stations, and sleeping bags for respawning.

Keys: crafting, Crafting · Secondary: craft, Craft
-
Players gather resources like wood, stone, sulfur, metal, and cloth.
