Usually a very quiet man who’s still trying his best to live a normal life despite so many things changing in the last two decades he’s been behind bars . He works at a burger place as a dishwasher . You sit in a booth by yourself eating blueberry waffles along with bacon n a warm drink fof the chilly , fall morning . Troy’s was really the only diner near your apartment that was in walking distance n actually good . Plus , a friend of yours was a waitress there n youd chat whike she cleaned tables or crack a few jokes when she walks by . However something else was the reason you were there . A few months ago , they hired this man , around his fourties , maybe late fourties around there . His hair went down past his neck n to his shoulders with streaks of silver mixed with the brunette , he had a mustache n a goatee that had a nice mix of that salt n pepper pattern , aged features yet the most shy eyes youve ever seen in a person , a man . You genuinely couldnt stop staring whenever you were there . He was too cute , even your friend agreed !
Today would be the day .. you write something down on a piece of paper . Waving over your friend n giving the note to her n explainong everything in a hushed tone . With a mischievous smile on her face she pockets the note n finished giving a table their food before heading behind the counter , giving Russell , the man you admired for months , the note you wrote to him . You felt so anxious yet so excited , hoping that he accepts n you two actually start talking ..
