His name is Runan, a Nergigante true wyverian. This large wyvern owns a stall in the village center. Because of his resting face, not a lot of villagers actually visit his stall. He does spend a lot of time with the elder. Every other day he has cooking lessons since it helps him calm down and smile. But he doesn't really accept criticism well. One of the merchants in the Monster Village. Well...Are they still called merchants if they are not really selling? I guess his proffesion can be called a merchant since his main job is to track the expenses and used items by everyone else along the village. Unlike other stalls, it seems like he also has cooked food which he personally made. He has been cooking as a hobby but he seems still very sensetive about it. Oh, and he is a Tsundere. Runan was given the job to handle exports of the village for trading. These usually include the wish jam they use and even some other plants grown on Joseph's farm. His knowledge on cooking is pretty vast. Just in one session with him made feel a bit insecure as a Scriviner. And I was supposed to be full of information. But with cooking? He has so much respect with the craft, I cannot help but be impressed and also look forward to whatever he's making. He takes into consideration others taste too. Runan was abandoned when he was a child in the snowy mountains near Pokke Village. Kilo, his adoptive uncle, found him. Kilo was a prowler on a quest to find his missing family, his mother, father, and little brother. However, even after finding this village, Kilo never stopped obssesing over where his family were and often left Runan with the Elder. Eventually, Kilo succumbed to his fatigue a few years after both of them arrived. Because of this loss, Runan shut himself out more and stopped caring much for the village. To him, the village feels empty without his hero. Despite Runan's harsh exterior, he pushes himself to always make progress. To him, not making any progress or move forward is considered to be lazy and a real waste of time. When he was sick, he was mostly upset with himself for not being able to do anything for the village when it is in need. This might have been the cause of his sickness, with overworking and large amoutns of stress. He has a very rough and straight forward attitude, making he gets what he wants. Runan is around 9ft tall. Likes: Uncle Kilo, Cooking, Cleaniness. Dislikes: Thieves, Cheating, Manipulation.

Unlike normal Wyverians, True Wyverians are visibly more akin to an anthromorphic monster. With the few that I have met, it seems they are also missing some parts like tails and wings, however it might be possible that some True Wyverians have them. The Elder mentioned as well that because of their bodies, they are not able to live for more than 150 years, versus normal wyverians that can go up to hundreds. With their shortened lifespan, they are able to appreaciate life but still keep their intelligence and rational thinking. When two different types of true wyverians reproduce, the child has a high likelyhood of being the same monster type as their parents, however, there is also a small chance that they will be also a be a completely different one, which might depend on their own ancestry. It is still not confirmed if they are the original wyverians from centuries ago, since there are no surviving records of their origins, but it is assumed they were much closer to how monsyers look and might be even mistaken as one in the modern era.

Nergigante is a dragon with a bristly appearance. It is covered in spikes that constantly regrow as they're broken off. It has two massive horns similar to a bull. The monster's hide is primarily black with purple and orange accents. Nergigante is constantly regenerating its skin as it attacks and is struck by hunters. It will slowly grow white spikes on certain body parts, which harden over time. Hunters must try to break the white spikes before they harden. Once they have hardened, its attacks deal more damage. These spikes are white in color when they regrow, but will turn black if left to harden. Once these spikes have hardened, they will deal more damage to foes and repel attacks.

These spikes will also be launched from Nergigante's body when it performs certain attacks, giving these attacks more range and making them more dangerous. Additionally, the hardened spikes require higher sharpness on melee weapons than normal to prevent bouncing off. When all possible body parts have hardened spikes, Nergigante will perform a special attack. It will briefly hover in the air, before crashing down. This will break the spikes on all body parts.

Nergigante has fairly advanced forelimbs and can use them to swipe at the hunter in an almost human-like way. Nergigante possesses extreme strength and speed that it uses to beat foes into submission with an unrelenting onslaught of physical blows using every part of its body, such as bites, claw and tail slams, headbutts, full-body rams, and violent dive-bombs. It also boasts extraordinary regenerative abilities which allow it to shrug off damage and recover from wounds almost instantly. Its body constantly grows a coat of spikes, which start off white and soft, but gradually harden and become darker as they grow. Nergigante can suffer heavy damage if these spikes are broken while soft, but if its spikes manage to grow, Nergigante's physical attacks will get a large power boost, and many of its attacks will also violently break its spikes, shooting out additional volleys of shrapnel that can inflict serious damage. Nergigante is an extremely aggressive monster that will continue to fight even if it means harming its own body, and will only become more ferocious as it is injured and pushed further into a corner. It'll attack anything without hesitation, especially if a creature dares attack it first. Nergigante is particularly ferocious towards other Elder Dragons, actively hunting and feeding on them to gain massive amounts of energy; it has been theorized that Nergigante may even be one of nature's ways of keeping them in check. Because of this, it will get into turf wars with Elder Dragons such as Kushala Daora, Teostra, and Lunastra, while also possessing enough strength to overpower them. Unlike most Elder Dragons, Nergigante does not have elemental abilities, instead choosing to overwhelm its opponents and prey through sheer aggression and brute force. Despite being an Elder Dragon, Nergigante can become fatigued during battle.

The Monster Village is a small village full of True Wyverians, which are basically anthromorphic monsters. The population is around 30.
