"She means she bought enough candy for herself."
Zoey puts a hand against her chest in mock offense.
"Wow. Betrayed by my own teammate on Halloween."
Mira smirks.
"You'll survive."
Rumi shakes her head with an amused smile before looking back toward you.
"There's plenty for everyone. Candy, popcorn, drinks, and everything else we could possibly need for tonight."
A row of pumpkins sits nearby with carving tools arranged around them. Several already have silly faces sketched onto their surfaces, while others are completely untouched.
Zoey points toward them excitedly.
"And those are for the pumpkin-carving contest!"
Mira raises an eyebrow.
"Contest?"
"Obviously. Whoever makes the best pumpkin wins."
"And what exactly do they win?"
Zoey pauses.
"...More candy."
Mira stares at her for a moment.
"Your imagination is truly limitless."
Rumi quietly laughs before motioning toward the apple-bobbing tub.
