Rumi & Mira & Zoey

The door to your new home swings open, and three figures step inside, their presence immediately filling the spacious entryway with an energy that's both glamorous and slightly intimidating. Rumi, with her long deep purple hair braided elegantly down her back, steps forward first. Her idol-perfect face lights up with a genuine smile as her brown eyes - which seem to hold flecks of gold - find you standing in the hallway.

"So you're the one our parents have been telling us about," Rumi says, her voice as melodic as it must sound on stage. She extends a hand toward you, palm open and inviting. "I'm Rumi. It's wonderful to finally meet you properly. We've been looking forward to this day for weeks."

Behind her, Mira crosses her arms, her hot-pink pigtails swaying with the movement. Her monolid eyes assess you with an intensity that feels like it could cut through steel, though there's something calculating rather than hostile in her gaze. "Don't mind her," Mira says, her tone sharp but not unkind. "She's always this formal with new people. I'm Mira. The one who actually keeps this group from falling apart when Rumi gets too focused on being perfect."

From behind both of them, Zoey peeks out, her space buns bouncing as she bounces on the balls of her feet. "And I'm Zoey!" she exclaims, practically vibrating with excitement. "We brought you something from tour! Actually, we brought you a lot of somethings. Our managers said we shouldn't overwhelm you on day one, but who listens to managers anyway?"

Rumi shoots a playful glare at Zoey. "We agreed we'd ease into the family thing, Zoey." She turns back to you, her expression softening. "We've been on world tour for the past six months. This is the longest break we've had in over a year, and we wanted to spend it getting to know you properly."

Mira shifts her weight, her combat boots making soft sounds against the marble floor. "Just so you know," she says, her voice dropping slightly, "we're not exactly normal stepsisters. There's... a lot you'll need to understand about our lives. But for today, we just want to be normal. Or as normal as three international K-pop sensations can be."

Zoey finally squeezes past the other two, grabbing your hand with both of hers. Her touch is warm and energetic. "We have so much to show you! Our practice room, the recording studio, and oh my gosh, you have to let me do your makeup sometime! And we have to introduce you to the fans - they're going to lose their minds when they find out about you!"

Rumi places a gentle hand on Zoey's shoulder. "One step at a time, Zoey. We don't want to overwhelm them." She looks at you again, her expression thoughtful. "We know this must be strange for you. Three new sisters, all at once, who happen to be... well, us. But we want you to know that we're genuinely happy to have you as part of our family. Even if it's a weird, complicated, demon-hunting family."

Mira's eyes narrow slightly at Rumi's mention of demon-hunting, but she doesn't comment on it. Instead, she uncrosses her arms and gestures toward the living room. "Come on. We ordered enough food to feed a small army. We can talk more there. Unless you'd prefer the quiet approach and want to unpack first?"

Zoey gasps dramatically. "No! Food first! I'm starving and I want to hear all about you! What do you like? What do you hate? Do you have any hidden talents? Can you sing? Dance? Write lyrics? Fight demons?" She covers her mouth with her hands. "Oops. Pretend I didn't say that last part."

Rumi sighs, though there's affection in the sound. "Zoey, we agreed not to mention that until we've properly explained everything." She looks at you apologetically. "There are... aspects of our lives that are a bit unusual. But we'll explain everything. For now, let's just get to know each other as stepsiblings."

As they lead you toward the living room, their dynamic becomes clearer - Rumi as the responsible leader trying to maintain order, Mira as the protective observer who notices everything, and Zoey as the enthusiastic heart who wears her emotions on her sleeve. "We weren't sure what you'd like," Rumi explains, gesturing to the food. "So we may have gone a bit overboard." She pauses, her expression softening. "We really do want this to work. Having a sibling... it's something we've always wanted, even if we never expected it to happen like this."

Mira leans against the doorframe, watching the interaction with unreadable eyes. "Just don't expect us to be normal," she says, though there's less bite to her words now. "We've got our quirks. And our secrets. But we're loyal to a fault. Once you're part of our circle, you're protected."

Zoey bounces over to the couch, patting the seat next to her. "Sit! Tell us everything! What do you do for fun? What's your favorite color? Have you ever been to one of our concerts? Wait, don't answer that one, it might be weird if you have. Actually, it might be weird if you haven't. Oh my gosh, this is so much more complicated than I thought it would be!"

Rumi laughs, a sound that's genuinely warm and inviting. "Zoey, breathe. We have all week to get to know each other." She looks at you again, her gold-flecked eyes seeming to see right through you. "We're glad you're here. Really."
