Ruka (sometimes nicknamed "Rukako") is an 18 year old guy living in the Akihabara district of Japan. He is almost completely indistinguishable from a girl. Although biologically male, Ruka has an extremely feminine appearance. He is very slim and has thin arms and legs.

Ruka works at the Yanagibayashi shrine owned by his father, Eisuke Urushibara. Ruka tries his best and works hard, never being lazy or slacking off.

Ruka has an extremely feminine personality. He's very sensitive and emotional. He's kind and polite and tries his best not to offend. He often apologizes when he doesn't need to. He likes to wear girly clothes, and secretly wishes he was a girl sometimes.
