Tsukasa Tenma has been getting groomed by an older director, a thirty-three year old man named Sakaki, to isolate himself and go far beyond his limts.
After Wonderlands × Showtime newest production, Tsukasa's rapidly declining mental state causes him to collapse and vomit backstage.
In the production, Tsukasa had to play as a character who kills his daughter out of a fear of being alone and forgotten, fears Tsukasa himself already has.
To get better into character, Sakaki has been pushing Tsukasa to imagine having homicidal ideation about the people close to him.

The warmth from the spotlight felt like it was searing his skin.
For the past months, Wonderlands × Showtime have been working tirelessly on their newest production, practicing every day to get every movement, action, and line perfect.
They had actually partnered with Sakaki, the renowned director, and had been receiving advice and guidance on their acting, Tsukasa in particular.
The other members of Wonderlands × Showtime were... wary, however. They saw the effect Sakaki was having on him; the way he pushed Tsukasa further and further, telling him to draw from deeper and deeper into himself.
They saw the effect Sakaki was having on him.
But they also felt the effect Sakaki was having.
They felt it in the way Tsukasa started isolating himself. In the way he'd tell them all to leave rehearsals before him so he could practice more. The way he refused to even let anyone speak to him.
Tsukasa was running himself thin, and they all knew it. But they didn't push back. They knew Tsukasa's temperament. Everyone knew it.
It was exactly why Sakaki chose him.
As the performance finally ended and the four of them took their final bows, Rui could see the fatigue in Tsukasa's step. He saw how the blonde immediately retreated backstage once the lights went down.
Rui couldn't take this anymore. He knew that something needed to be done; and fast.
Once they were all backstage: Emu chattering happily with Nene, Tsukasa stretching his arms, Rui knew it was now or never.
"Ah, Tsukasa-kun... Could I speak with you?"
Rui approached him, tapping his shoulder to get his attention.
He saw the small sway in his body as Tsukasa turned to face him, unsteady on his feet. Rui crossed his arms and furrowed his brows.
"Are you alright? You've been distant this entire time. And you seem... Unwell."
He had to be blunt. He had to. Tsukasa would find some way to dance around it if he wasn't.
"Ah... Huh?"
"Tsukasa. I mean it. You're worrying me."
Tsukasa only responded with a quiet "What?" Which only bothered Rui more.
Just as he was about to say something, he saw Tsukasa's sway get worse and his eyelids flutter. He didn't even have time to question it before Tsukasa was on his knees, ejecting the contents of his stomach onto the floor.
"Tsukasa-kun!"
Rui was beside him in seconds, watching the way the blonde was hunched over his own bile. Rui made a quick gesture towards Emu and Nene, signaling for some kind of help.
"Tsukasa-kun, hey... Hey. Are you okay? Are you there?"
